I sat in the box for Sweet Charity, and the only time the view was a problem was when they were in the elevator.

CSonBroadway haven't seen any of the show yet but will tonight since there is a dress rehearsal. If they are doing all the box seats for the Lotto there are 28 all together 14 on each side. From what I've heard from the stage hands it's really good.

Do we know if they are also using side Orc seats for the lotto? I'm wondering if partial view orc seats will also be lotoed(sp) off.
Are Partial view orc seats cheaper?
It just seems weird that lotto would be boxes only and from what I hear they are a bad view.
I called Telecharge and they were no help.

Well, at the St. James for Gypsy, I ended up with a box seat for rush tickets, so I guess it is up to whoever is in charge to decide what seats are for lotto or rush. Sure, front row may seem like a dream to sit in, but in my experience, you do not get the entire picture because you are so close.

Telecharge isn't the place to call to ask about rush. Call the theater's box office directly.

"infact during the rehearsal that I was able to attend, the cast members interacted primarily with the people in the front row and the aisle seats in the front orchestra."
Define interacted. I don't need no stinkin' Hippies manhandling me.

If I wanted to be groped at the theater, I'd do a show with Mandy Patinkin.

I don't think legally they are allowed to touch you. Maybe just sing in your face.

I was expecting someone to run in from out of frame, Andy Samberg-style, and punch her in the face.
And I'm a little disappointed that didn't happen.

Row A has a lot of interaction with the cast. They come off the stage, go down the aisles, stand in front of A to sing, sit on the edge of the stage etc. There's also the whole "Hold my pants" thing at the beginning.
I did lotto last night. It's 26 seats in the 2 boxes. For the most part, it wasn't an obstructed view. I was in the middle (of a 3 seat row) and could see fine, my mom was on the end and she said it was a little obstructed (mainly from the really tall man sitting in front of her). So overall the $25 lottery isn't bad, if you can get tickets! Plus the there's a lot of cast interaction in the boxes.

Approximately how many people showed up for the lotto last night, countrygurl?

Lotto today for the matinee was great (maybe on account of the beautiful weather?). 26 seats, only 21 people there. But I somehow ended up being literally the only person who didn't win.
Still, all's well that ends well, someone ended up selling me one of their extra tickets. So, everyone was a "winner" at today's lottery.

"Hold My Pants" part..? Sounds a little too interactive if you ask me.
