This was such a joyous video to wake up to find spreading over social media this morning

I'll be honest, I burst into tears (and I'd like to think I'm one of the less dramatic posters on this board
). Not because it made me sad, but because it's been a hell of a week, and the sheer joy of this song reminded me of how badly I miss watching live theater.
And yes, then I threw some more money at The Actor's Fund.

Couldn't agree more!
This song made me fall in love with HAIRSPRAY before I even saw it. It is one of the most joyous, most rousing finales to any musical ever. And boy did we need this. No dramatics, Kitsume - I burst into tears watching this yesterday, too.
And how awesome was it to see so many members (stars and company) from the OBC. This show is just SPECIAL.
A few questions - Linda Hart (original Velma) was in the credits but I still haven't been able to find her in the video. Also - all the Motormouth's were AMAZING. But what ever happened to Mary Bond Davis (original Motormouth on Broadway). And I of course recognized Jennifer Lewis, Ms. Darlene Love and Charlotte Crossley - who were the others? London?
You truly Can't Stop The Beat.

Go to 3:10 into the video. It looks like Linda three panels up and three panels across. Love all the choreography panels. So much to take in.

Hands down my favorite cast video to come out during all of this.

Linda Hart can be seen during "and it don't know white from Black" and "and my heart's keeping time to the speed of sound" lines during Motormouth's part. She is wearing glasses and has what looks like a spatula in each hand and looks like she is in her kitchen with cakes in front of her (99% positive it's her). Really wish she was in the video more as I adore her!
I recognized Tisha Campbell Martin as one of the other Motormouths but not sure who the lady in red was. She didn't look like any of the actresses who played the role in London. as much as I loved those two, it would have been great if they had featured Charlotte Crossley (who was in the video briefly) during that part since she played the role on both Tour and Broadway. Yes, I am being nitpicky. Lol
