I haven't seen Legally Blonde, so i don't know if its good or not, but if i werre you i would see Leagally Blonde, its brand new, and thats exciting. But, Hairspray is amazing. And on the other hand Leaglly Blonde will tour eventually... Right, so either one should be fun!
I really hope you never turn into a counsellor...
Hairsprays tour is not the same show you will see in NY, so I would go for Hairspray. You still have plenty of time to see Legally Blonde.
hairspray! it's one of the greatest shows ever. and its not true that nobody wants to see hairspray, it feels tired, and it's long. that really isnt true. the show is still very fresh and very fun. dont listen to these buggers. and songanddanceman, arent you the one who lives in england and hasnt even seen these live? i dont think you should even have a say in this...just my two cents.
oh yeah, and it would be great to see hairspray before the film comes out and becomes a huge blockbuster. that's part of the reason i saw it in both feb. and march.
HAIRSPRAY is quite wonderful. LEGALLY BLONDE is quite awful in all departments except for Christian Borle and Orfeh, and the 2 dogs.
BroadwayEnthusiast2-I was waiting for some smart arse to say that, as some on here know ive been in new york for the past week at my Aunts and Uncles and watched Legally Blonde this week, i also watched Hairspray about 5 years ago in NY with the original cast and again Last year when i was back

I saw Hairspray a few weeks ago with Alexa and Ashley, both were good. I know Alexa started pretty rough, but she was pretty great when I saw her.
So, HAIRSPRAY!
have fun at LEGALLY BLONDE
im sure youll have good time, and see HAIRSPRAY sometime in the future because its not to be missed
There's no comparison. Go see Hairspray. The score in Legally Blonde is a bore and almost painful to listen to at times.
