I'll see it, several times.

Don't judge me.

I'd much rather watch this than their remake of Rocky Horror.

What is MTV thinking these days? Since when were they interested in Broadway...

Just what we need.

And hey, they can cast the movie with a reality show, too, and draw it out even longer.

If this does happen, I hope Hach steps away.

If they had to do this then I really hope Kristen Bell can play Elle. I think she would be fantastic on broadway but I think she is well known enough to be considered a "name".

BorstalBitch or whatever you are called, that 'Imaginative' picture of mine happens to be a show my company is producing, you see some of us do it, we don't just bitch and gossip about it.

Judging by MTV's standards (And I love MADE and True Life), their audience flock to reruns and don't mind seeing familiar faces, and/or watching the same episode multiple times. So, it probably doesn't seem like overkill to them. I'm sure plenty of people would see the movie musical, but I just don't think it would work out well. It would not be a critical success that is for sure. Whoever lands the part of playing Elle has the tough task of not just copying Reese Witherspoon; however, everyone is going to go into it expecting Reese Witherspoon.

I bet Bailey will be on the short list to play Elle.

P.S. When the F*CK did BWW get those annoying ads that fly out in front of you?

I can see them filming the show with Bailey before making a new big-screen film.

Since they realized it's one more way to make money! Destroying our enjoyment.

I would love it if Amy Phoeler made a cameo as Elle's mom! it would be Regina's mom from Mean Girls, all over again!

re: Hal Luftig Says He'd do LB: Movie Musical

If such a movie was made, then a made-for-MTV movie is the best way to go. I can't see this doing well on the big screen. However, just to get it out of the way, I would like to see the small screen version as long as it is cast very well. No Ashley Tisdale please!

What if Reese Witherspoon made a cameo? If yeah, as who? That Amy Poehler cameo is a good idea. It would be cool to have cameos from the OBC and the movie cast.

I would watch this too as long as there is a new soundtrack and a DVD. I would love it if "Love and War" was in.

Amy Poehler would be PERFECT. I knew Elle's mom reminded me of someone.

I have to say, I think a movie musical of Legally Blonde would be a baaaad idea... but I'd probably go see it anyway. And buy the soundtrack. (Whoa, that's something new-- an instance when I can actually appropriately use the word 'soundtrack'! )
