Saw this too late, all of the November tickets are gone except for the AmEx ones.
I live in the Midwest and November is the only month during the winter that I could get tickets and not have to worry about not being able to travel due to the weather. Oh, well, maybe next time.

My God. An hour and 23 minutes after being released 95% of the tickets are all gone. Already up for resale. Crazy.

I don't understand where these tickets are coming from. I guess they were not really sold out until January after all? Just saying that to create buzz maybe?

I mean they could have released them and sold them out easily so I don't think it was a case of lying to create buzz.
They definitely withhold tickets sometimes, I have no idea why. I bought a ticket for this Summer when I randomly checked Ticketmaster and 7 tickets for one show suddenly became available.

It's a bit frustrating when you think you've secured tickets only for Ticketmaster to say the 'map isn't working right now' and then you see the seats get taken....okay....

I just looked at random date for this July, and there are 355 re-sale tickets are available- almost 30% of the house, which is just insane!

How are they already available for resale when there is a delivery delay? I'm in my Ticketmaster account and it doesn't show that as an option (not that I'm selling). Makes you wonder if all the resale business is legit.

Wow. In less than 2 hours a ton of tickets that go on sale with no notice are gone. The power of this show is unbelievable.

Those are weekend and holiday week prices. Other times are:
Premium: $549. Preferred: $329 Orch: $199 FM $199 RM: $139-179
"
So premium aren't being raised to $975?

If they do that, it will be after the Tonys.

These scalpers really are sophisticated with their software. Scum.

why can'y you just search for an available ticket on a range of dates? Why do you need to click every date separately?

Evidently New Year's Eve tickets were $999 for premiums. So I think the hike is for specific dates.
I dont think that the fact that some are on resale now is reason to question. A bunch of tickets for all these dates were already sold. So the ones on resale may have been up long ago. They just have just held back some batches from general sale since they go so quickly whenever they're put on sale. I don't think that's unheard of.

Yeah I thought of that after I posed the initial question and it makes sense.

I hate that they don't have this feature. I'm glad I actually found a ticket though.

Why did they release these at that particular time with such little advance notice?

Maybe to deter scalpers.

Reason 927 telecharge is better than ticketmaster.

I just got my tickets before the scalper bots got them. Got 3 tickets to take my sons (who are addicted to the soundtrack) on a Sunday matinee in December - Front Mezz Row C Center of side section, and got 2 tickets to go with my sister in law on a Wednesday -- Row Q center orchestra. All seats were $199 plus charges. Beyond thrilled!

I apologize if this isn't the appropriate thread for this question, but it doesn't see worth starting a new thread for. Have people had success with ticket trades? In a "panic," I bought three tickets tonight for a date that might not work for all members of my party. I searched and searched for other dates (with plans to then just resell the ones I had), but it was too late by the time I came home and searched again. They are far side, rear orchestra seats, so not great (intermission ended just as I had really great seats in my cart, *shakes fist*). I am, of course, worried about legitimacy and would assume people wouldn't want to trade three far side, rear orchestra seats for something better, but trading is my preference over reselling them.
I'm not looking to trade them in this thread; I just wonder if there are legitimate routes through which to trade, other than StubHub (of which I've heard some horror stories).
