For some reason nobody has posted on this thread in a while. How has the cancellation line been lately?
But seriously, i was just wondering if anyone had any opinions or insight on what you think will happen when Broadway opens up again. Do you think that the line will go back to being crazy or if it will still be as slow as it was before the pandemic? Or will they even still have a cancellation line when this thing is over?
One one hand, i imagine the release of the film could cause people to lose interest in seeing the play live. On the other hand, i know people who formerly had no interest in the play but now love it after seeing it on Disney. I' m wondering if that will cause a whole new group of fans to come to the line.
I started waiting on line in 2018. At that time you had to get online around 9-10 AM to be in the first 10 people. I'm a rare type that actually enjoys that and misses those days. I enjoyed the whole experience of meeting people and hanging out for the day. It was actually disappointing to me the last time i waited on line last year when nobody else showed up until around 3:00.
So what do you think will happen in January if/when things are back to normal?
