They're still looking at actors for Hamilton and the King (I think they want someone relatively known for the latter). Baz has said Lin possibly in 2018.

Thankless, and not entirely appropriate. Gigi's supposed to be young. There's a LOT of really talented Asian-American actresses out there who haven't had their time in the sun. Ruthie Ann Miles' next role as a replacement should either be Irene Malloy in Hello, Dolly! or Angelica in Hamilton (if she can rap). Else, she can be a wonderful ... anything. She's literally the only person in The King & I (original and replacement cast) who kept drawing my eye whenever she was on stage.

I'm still hoping Ruthie gets a chance to play Jenna in Waitress one day. she would absolutely kill that role IMO.

On a different message board, people are noting the lack of South Asian actors in the cast announced so far.   But, then, Hamilton is not yet publicly cast.

Also, John Barrowman for King George for at least a few weeks!
