This thread made my day.
Hamilton22 is ignorant and a cyber bully, and you guys totally called him out.
Kudos to 42nd and 9th, Hellob, dramamama611, gypsy101, Braodwaygirlie2, BroadwayConcierge. If I missed anyone, hope you will reply.
A week ago, I complained because I finally saw Hamilton, but with the SECOND understudy, and he wasn't especially good. Hamilton22 ripped me a new one, called me a whiner, etc. Since then, I have read threads from lots of people who will do anything they can to avoid the first understudy and see only LMM. I WAS justified in being disappointed in seeing a less-then-great second understudy, but Hamilton22 bullied me and called me names for feeling that way. I thought it was me, but now I see that everyone hates Hamilton22.
Hamilton22, YOU are the whiner, YOU are the loser, YOU bully from the safety of anonymity, and YOU are not wanted here. You pick fights on every thread. Why do you feel so inadequate? Is it because of what I think it is???????
Thanks, everyone. I can now retire from this board in peace.
Anyone know when the next batch goes on sale?

I was also wanting a ticket in this Price range and was looking at craigslist but wasn't sure if tickets were covered under paypal guarantee--at first I thought they were but if they email me the ticket thought I read that it couldn't be covered. Definitely don't want to get scammed! Thanks.
Someone posted not long ago that at his performance, there were about 100 people with fake tickets. What a mess!

I'm extremely hesitant to buy from sites besides Ticketmaster and maybe Stubhub. Every performance has so many fake tickets that people paid so much money for from other sites and they're just screwed. It's nervewracking.

When an account gets deleted, the posts usually disappear, don't they? It would be great if it doesn't return, however.

1 - Resales tix are way beyond my budget.
2 - No one seems to knows when the next block will be released. And when they do it's likely that they will be sold out w/in 24 hours.
3 - Cancellation line doesn't seem have the flexibility needed to purchase advance seats. Same with lottery. Besides it's not worth it to me to stand in line for hours for the odd chance of snagging a reasonably priced ticket.
4 - Still planning to visit box office and look for box seat avails.
Like Wall Street, some people do have inside knowledge that is legal. if H22 knows something and is willing to share it, that would be great.
If he requires strict confidence in return, I'll honor that.

You can get protection if you use the goods/services option but the seller will be charged a fee so I would offer to cover that bc if you send $ through friends/family option you're out of luck. But let me tell you what's going to happen 99% of the time when you contact "seller". They are going to say they have hard tickets but will give you the receipt from TM and they either don't have a pp account or refuse to do business with those crooks, etc. there's a few legit people on CL but it's few and far between. Just look at some of the posts and the writing style. There's many identically worded posts for different dates or someone is selling premium tix for $300. Yeah, right. Be very wary and if you come across a seemingly legit person, don't let your guard down for a second. Good luck

He's full of it.
In August, I bought a May 2016 premium seat ($352, but face value plus a $17 Ticketmaster fee looked good to me at the time). Then, I was able to purchase box seats in mid-October for early December at $167 each, no fees. When the last batch of tickets for September through October 2016 was released, I was looking for a few days and there were still seats available. The least expensive seats were gone quickly, but there were still side orchestra seats for less than $200 for a few days after the release. The premium seats ($477) were there for a long time, though I stopped looking after a while, so am not sure if they are still there.
Box seats will be under $200 if you can get them. Good luck.
