Hi all. I purchased tickets to see Hamilton only to realize that they are meant to be wheelchair seats. I called the box office and the guy said that my party will "probably be able to see it depending on if everything checks out with the house manager." I am very nervous because I planned a whole trip around seeing it and if I get there only to be told I can't see it, I might just start crying. These tickets are for Tony Sunday, if that helps. Any info at all is helpful.

I'm not sure what you expect us to tell you. The only answer that matters is what the box office says. I wouldn't worry. I'm sure they'll figure something out.

" I was hoping for reassurance, honestly. I did buy these from Ticketmaster box office, if that helps anyone, also.

I agree don't worry too much. The scalpers and robots have been snatching up the wheelchair seats all along so I'm sure people show up with resale tickets all the time who aren't in wheelchairs.

I think Lin makes the staff call them "Hamilchair" seats because everything has to be a pun for this show.

" Hope that isn't derogatory. If anyone is reading this and seeing Hamilton before 6/12, I would really appreciate it SO MUCH if you could look by Row H side orchestra and see if all of the people there are in wheelchairs. Please PM me if you could do that.

Be sure not to drink too much Hamiljuice at the Hamilbar or you'll have to rush to use the Hamilcrapper and those Hamilines are really long and Hamilmission is only 15 minutes long.

Pretty lousy if there are able-bodied patrons in wheelchair spots - seeing as only six of the 1,300 seats are allocated for that purpose.

I highly doubt they give a Hamilsh*t who sits in those seats as long as they get their couple hundred dollars for them.

And don't swallow the Hamilchino cherry in your Hammie Temple or the ushers will have to use the Hamlich maneuver on you.

They were actually only 187 Hamildollars with the TM fees each. That's part of the reason I'm Hamilworried. If I got them on resale, I could pretend to be Hamilclueless. Should I still try if the question me or can they see who bought the Hamiltix when they scan?

" Actually, my father is a Hamildoctor so he could perform the Hamlich if need be

I thought being Handicapped was a disability. But really, it isn't. They get the best parking spots, an excuse to not run, and now they get Hamilton tickets over me even when I paid for them?

I sat next to those seats last week and you should be fine. There are seats there and in fact a little extra room. Two perfectly able bodied people came in with the tickets there with no problem at all. Fantastic seats.

Did you call the actual RR box office, or did you speak to someone at TicketMaster? Friend of mine had her wheelchair seating tickets refunded by the RR box office because her friend in a wheelchair could no longer attend. But again, guess it depends on what the house manager does. I'm interested to hear how it works out for you!

As someone who actually uses a wheelchair, I'm disappointed that they don't care when people who don't need them take the very limited number of spaces people like myself can use. When I was planning a trip last fall I looked into tickets, but it was only around 4 months in advance, so I wasn't surprised there weren't any. No problem. But just for giggles I looked ahead, choosing random dates several months away, and never found any. I obviously can't say what they do at Hamilton since I wasn't able to get tickets, but with every other show I've bought tickets for a note was included with my accessible ticket saying that I may be asked to move if I got there and didn't really have a wheelchair. I don't understand how anyone can truly think that only 6 accessible seats out of over 1000 is any sort of unfair perk.
