Listening nonstop to the Hamilton recording has me falling in love all over again. I need to buy tickets and see it again! I can't seem to find anything on the website about actors taking vacations/absences. I know the alternate is going on for Sunday matinees, yes? I feel like I've also read on this board about Groff taking time off to shoot a film. Does anyone know any concrete dates? I would so appreciate any info. Thanks!

Javier is on for Sunday matinees through March 27 and then Saturday matinees March 28-September 3. It's a little hard to find but its on the website in small print below the performance calendar.
There are no other scheduled absences listed. I know Groff will be filming the Looking movie at some point (the last announcement on the movie said fall) but dates haven't been announced.
I'd guess many actors would try to avoid scheduled absences until after the Tonys. Many of them could be in contention.
There's going to be some vacations coming up in the next few weeks, but I'm not entirely sure who they are. The vacation swings are finishing up rehearsals and starting soon. I'm assuming they're trying to get vacations in before the busy holiday season.
Slightly tangential here, but if LMM takes a vacation, I'm assuming Javier Munoz would do the normal schedule for Hamilton. Do you think we would end up seeing Jon Rua going on as the alternate that week as Javi does? Jon is so talented in his own right that I would be really interested to see his take on it.
I highly doubt the LOOKING movie will be filming any time this fall with Groff in HAMILTON and Russell Tovey in A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE.
According to Laura Osnes's photo, Lin was out yesterday. Telling from his Twitter, it was to write a new song for Moana.

The Looking movie has begun pre-production. The set designer leaves for SF next week. Groff has an out clause in his Hamilton contract specifically for the film.

Out of curiosity, which Laura photo are you referring to?
I know Sydney went on for Leslie on the 19th of this month and I heard he was fantastic

That wasn't at the show but at the Ars Nova benefit:

The benefit was on Monday the 21st which was when the show was dark so Lin didn't miss a show.
Goldsberry will need to be out at some point for this.
The LOOKING movie will film in San Francisco for a month from late October through late November. As others have said, they're in pre-production now.
(SPOILERS) Considering the events of the second season finale, it's perfectly plausible that Russell Tovey's role in the final installment could be minimal. If time has passed in the world of the show between then and when the movie picks up, there's a very real possibility he could not be in it at all. (/SPOILERS)
Considering shooting will be getting underway right around when Tovey starts previews in A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, if he is in fact involved, I imagine they'd either fly him out west on his day(s) off to film whatever they need from him or just shoot scenes with him and Groff in New York.
