Should I wait for Hamilton or go to Fun Home on Broadway. I am from Australia and cannot go to Broadway as often as I like. But they both sound like good shows.

Hamilton has no actual plans to come to Broadway, at least nothing announced. So, between a show that is coming to Broadway and a show that might at some point in the future be on Broadway, I'd pick the one you know is actually happening.

I think the Public Theatre is a very underappreciated theatre company. They do great american work that is always underappreciated. A part of my soul died when I saw Caroline or Change and heard how limited that one is

Even though i think Hamilton will be a better show than Fun Home, I would come now because this season is so awesome and filled with a lot of great musicals!

Hamilton is nearly completely sold out. Fun Home was extended multiple times and was sold out all the time. They just announced a show with Anne Hathaway directed by Julie Taymor. Here Lies Love had a commercial run after it was staged at the public, and is launching a UK production. I'm not by what metric they are underappreciated...

What's the question? Wait for Hamilton for what?

I think the OP wants to wait until Hamilton transfers to Broadway... I'm not sure why.

OK. Fun Home is really good. You should go see Fun Home, regardless of Hamilton. Hamilton is nearly sold out. So if you want to see it at the Public, you should buy a ticket right now. Hamilton might move somewhere else, but we don't know yet. They've had 2 performances.

I'm with hater on this.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Hamilton has built in extensions through May, so you may be good. Fun Home is brilliant, and should be seen and supported as well.

Both, dude. Both.
