What are some of the hardest broadway digital lotteries for you guys? Phantom and Hamilton are the hardest for me. I am about 8 months and counting on both with no win.
I have entered BOM so many times and have never won. It's frustrating LOL I have also tried Wicked many times with no luck. I have actually only won 1 lottery in my day... Newsies. I have entered all the lotteries at some point, both online and in person and it's the only one I ever won. I even entered the Rent lottery at New World Stages once and I brought 5 people with me to better our chances and there were only like 20 people there and we STILL lost. I think I have a lottery jinx.

I enter almost every day and have never won Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, and Book of Mormon.
I won Matilda, Fully Committed, Kinky Boots, The Great Comet, Sunset Blvd (first try), On Your Feet (2nd try).

I've been entering Dear Evan Hansen everyday since they launched a digital lottery and have never won. I haven't frequently heard of winners either.
Its crazy how things turn out. I posted this yesterday and ended up winning Phantom for tonight. What a marvelous show it was!

That's awesome! I hope to go at some point in the next few months. I've lived in NYC for 17 years and have never been!
Definitely Dear Evan Hansen, I have won two lotterys Hamilton (2nd try) and Sunset Boulevard (1st Try)

I hate online lotteries in spite of the convenience. The pool of people attempting to win is so much larger. It's much harder to win in general. And then lottery tickets are often unused. The person wins and decides not to go and the seats are empty. Some theaters are better at taking care of this problem than others.
I also miss the fun of winning in person. It's just not the same in an email.
I miss in person lottos. I agree, online lottos aren't the same. It was always so much fun waiting there and hearing the names called. It was a ton of fun.
As for online lottos, I haven't done many and I've only won one (Hamilton on my first try lol).

To me, you can see the winners of in-person lotteries. With digital ones, I'm not even sure if there are any winners! I don't think I've ever seen anyone on here or on Instagram post about their DEH lottery win.

I have tried DEH every day since they opened an online lottery for it. Still haven't won and don't know anybody who has. It's very discouraging and certainly makes me wonder...
Also can't seem to win School of Rock for some reason, but have won about 10+ other lotteries in the last 12 months (including BOM, Phantom, Kinky Boots, Matilda and Lion King so really can't complain!) but dying to see SOR and DEH!!
I have a friend who won one ticket to DEH through the lotto for a Saturday matinee a few months ago, his seat was in the left box.
On here, I have only heard of one winner for Dear Evan Hansen who was in the last seat of the front row against the wall and could only see stuff when it was at the front of the stage. FORGET THAT LOTTERY GUYS, DO STANDING ROOM. Take a day off, go on a wednesday or saturday (2 show day better chances) and go see the show. Its better then losing that thing everyday with which we dont even know if there are winners.
Hi TheThreadMaster, I think you're referring to me :). I won Dear Evan Hansen for the matinee of 2/4 and sat in seat A 5. It was an absolutely awful seat but still thrilling just to be there.

I also won DEH on a Saturday matinee and had the same seat as JillianSch. I didn't think it was an awful seat, it wasn't great, but it was a lot better than the extreme side of the row behind me. I sat on it when leaving the theater and I was shocked, you are literally facing a wall. At least on A 5 you can see the stage, sure, the stage is a bit high, but it's not "Something Rotten!" high. Something Rotten was the worse lottery seat I've ever seen.
I don't seem to trust online lotteries. In-person ones are so much better, and even when you didn't win, you got to see the look of excitement on the person who did. For some odd reason I never seem to win the BOM lottery even though it's not that popular right now? Matilda, Sunset Boulevard, and The Lion King are the easiest ones for me.

I agree about the Something Rotten seating! Especially since I'm 5'2, haha

Does anyone remember when there was a cheating system with in-person lottery many years ago? If I remember correctly, it was Taboo but I don't remember 100% what show it was now. I tried a couple times and the cheating was so obvious that anyone could tell.

I've entered around 3 or 4 times and haven't won yet. However this is a pretty small number. I also haven't heard of anyone winning.

I remember with Newsies there was a "system". It all had to do with the fold. I think those days are gone.
Well I love the online lottos, especially cause I don't have to waste my time going to the theatre just to lose. I've won wicked, fun home, on your feet, kinky boots, fully committed. I think that's all of them, I've been trying to win Dear Evan Hansen but haven't won yet. Some I won on my first or second entry and others took a lot of losses first. Either way it beats wasting my time and money to go to the theatre just to lose.
