So I will be buying tickets for broadway, but I see in London they have Part One performed on certain nights and Part 2 on another night. I am confused a bit. Sorry if this is a dumb question but Im just curious how this works exactly. Do I have to buy 2 tickets to 2 separate shows?

We don't know yet how the producers plan to sell tickets on Broadway. When I saw the show in the West End last fall, they performed 8 times a week (part 1 four times and part 2 four times.) From what I recall, the schedule was:
Wed matinee & evening - Part 1 & 2 (respectively)
Thu eve - Part 1
Fri eve - Part 2
Sat matinee/evening - Part 1 and 2 (respectively)
Sun matinee/evening - Part 1 and 2 (respectively)
They sold 1 ticket per part. So stalls (orchestra) tickets, it was 70 pounds per per part, or 140 pounds for both parts. You may buy tickets for both parts on the same day or on separate days, etc. but the box office definitely preferred to sell them both in the same transaction.
Hopefully the above made sense. It was magical and I'd say at least 10-15% of the theatre-goers dressed up in Hogwarts robes!

Okay so I see it is very critical to buy both parts. Wow, a matinee and evening performance to wrap up one show, and its Harry Potter themed. Count me in. Thank you!

I have a terrible feeling we'll see prices of $100+ or MORE for each part here in NY. I hope I'm wrong.

I would expect so....it will very the same as seeing two different shows.

Just returned from London seeing this production. It is a must see. Saw it over a 2 night period on a Thursday and Friday night. I can't imagine what the ticket prices will be here in New York. I paid 70GBP per ticket/per part for row G stall seats. In NY I am sure they will be double that if not more for the same location at the Lyric.

I have seen it in London. Both parts twice. It's a must see. The special effects alone are worth seeing. The only complaint I do have is in order to enjoy the show, you must be a Harry Potter fan. You need to know all of the movies/books. If you do, you will love it.

Both parts on one night were only performed twice a week - Wednesday and Saturday.
I was able to get tickets to both parts on a Saturday for 40 pounds total from their cancellation queue. A bit obstructed view, but that means I don't have to be in a rush to see it when it comes here lol.

Both parts are performed on Sundays as well. Only on Thursdays and Fridays is only one part performed.

I totally lucked out since they had released a batch of tickets about a week and a half prior to my trip to London. Settled for premium seats (199GBP or ~245USD for both parts) and got Row H14&15 on aisle, in the stalls. The special effects are truly spectacular!
I'm just hoping they'll crack down on the bots/resellers when it comes to Broadway!

The USD to GBP exchange rate is favorable to Americans at the moment that seeing the show from those seats for $245 (or $122.50 each part) is a great deal!!! I'd imagine at the Lyric it may cost $245 per part (or higher) from similar seats.

Haha … it was an insanely great deal especially after getting used to Hamilton prices 
(the last time I was in the UK, it was like 1GBP to 1.5USD) I have no doubts that it'll be at the price points you mentioned! Such a shame!
