Looks like those price bands continue through May 2019,

So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?

Hi everyone!  Any thoughts on if the railing for Dress Circle, Row A, Seats 14-16, is an issue?  It looks like as you move toward the far sides, it does start to block the view based on photos online, but hoping these seats aren’t too far over.  Would appreciate any thoughts anyone has if they’ve sat there.  Just saw the show this past weekend from Orchestra, Row H, Seats 2-4, and it was awesome!

I sat in A19, so almost the same seat on the other side. The railing is slightly annoying but it took minimal shifting to be able to see properly. You do need to face the stage at kind of an angle at that point anyway, though.

I am sitting in J Seat 20. How is the view? Can you see expressions and faces? Is it to far back? Someone is selling Row C Seat 9 for the same day though a group and I almost want to sell mine and get those! Don’t know what to do!

Great deal on StubHub for today on what appears to be orchestra B 2-4, $230 for both parts per seat, before fees.

I just returned a pair of $40 per part tickets. Balcony row D seats 22-24 for Sunday July 22. Someone should jump on them!

Unfortunately I couldn't convince my friend to drive me there from Toronto...alas...hopefully someone on here gets them.

I was randomly looking for tickets in early July and noticed Prime tickets are now $225 per part?! I can almost swear they were $189 per part just a few days ago. I'm guessing HP increased the prices for prime seats. Premium tix are now $325 per part (up from $299 per part)! Wow!

About to release 40$ tickets for Nov 7th, Apr 6th and Apr 24th.  Don't know what price point they'll pop back on with (dress circle and balcony) but keep your eyes peeled.

Merry Christmas

Anyone have an issue with ticketmaster not sending confirmation emails for their orders?? I ordered for a show next March but received nothing. It's in my ticketmaster order history and my credit card is showing the transaction. Never had this issue before

Yes, I've had the same issue, as well. As long as it's in your orders, though, it isn't a problem.

Agreed, I have the same issue. I take a screenshot of the confirmation page that pops up and also check under Orders.

Also have not received for my exchange. I contacted Customer Service and all they sent me was a "Yes, you have tickets!" With a listing of my date and time.

Just noticed the same thing...yikes. Weekdays were actually down to $179, I believe, for the summer. Guess they decided to raise the price.

Hey guys!

Just looking for some advice, if you don't mind. I know some of you have been following tickets for Cursed Child quite a lot. I am coming over from Australia for a 2 week trip in January. Cursed Child is a must for me. The seats that are available for my dates are the $165 + and mostly rear orchestra. I would love to get one below that price or at that price (and above) if it was a very good seat. If you were me would you just buy the best of the best available, or wait it out? Any advice would be appreciated!

I would wait it out. January is a long way off, and I would be shocked if a better seat didn't pop up between now and then, especially if you're looking for just 1. What are your available dates, if you don't mind my asking?

I would absolutely wait it out.  The production has clearly been holding back lots of tickets (including plenty in Orchestra rows G, H, and J - GREAT seats).  If you're prepared to spend more than $165 which you seem to be, you'll definitely find much better seats at $225 (what used to be $199) or $325 (what used to be $299) as your date approaches.  Plus, they also seem to have held back seats elsewhere in the theater (or people who bought in the first release are just returning them) because periodic seats in the mezz and balcony also pop up at $155ish.  I'd say hold out for the seat you really want, it'll likely come up if you check ticketmaster semi-regularly (once a day or so).  Enjoy your trip to NYC!

Agree. Good news. Broadway is off peak in Jan. Tourism low in nyc. Be patient. Good chance prices could trend down a touch in Jan.

After Martin Luther King day is definitely off-peak in Broadway. Broadwaycon occurs in late January and normally there are 2-4-1 sales for most Bway shows (I am curious whether Harry Potter will participate.)

However, the first week of January tends to be peak so it may be harder to get tickets unless you're willing to pay premium ticket prices.

I agree with the others though to wait it out. I bought HP tickets for my parents two weekends ago and I waited it out and managed to get them really good seats for non-premium price (row K orchestra ... it's the one with the great legroom) and they were very very happy with the seats!!!

Actually, BroadwayCon is earlier next year.  It is scheduled for January 10-13, 2019.  A lot of people coming to NYC for the convention may try to get Harry Potter tickets.

I would expect that if BroadwayCon attendees wanted to attend, they would aim before or after the convention simply because the time commitment would cut into con programming. Unless they are attending just one day or going for one specific event. That being said, I'm not really sure how many people attend the con in total, but I would assume that it isn't EVERYONE'S cup of tea anyway and that the number of tourist drastically decreasing otherwise would even things out.

I concur that you should definitely keep an eye on tickets for a little longer.
