Reporting on my A2 experience... while I would recommend seeing this perhaps 2 or 3 rows back to save you from some neck strain, I do not regret the experience at all. I usually don't do front row or near because of pricing but this was worth what I paid to see some of the "magical" aspects (and also something else with stairs that made me catch my breath). I would like to see this again from the dress circle but all in all, a really fun day of theater.

Are there any “bad” sections of the theatre to be aware of? More specifically, how is the balcony, and the back of the dress circle past row E (overhang)? I’m assuming most of the orchestra is great.

Some family friends have asked for recommendations. Thanks in advance for any input you all might have!

I don't think there is necessarily a bad seat. Even with the overhang, there is about one tiny scene you'll miss because of it. To be fair, it is a cool part, but you'll be able to deduct what's going on. As for the balcony, I think some people complain about the railing, but I think if you get a booster seat you should be fine. If you have neck problems I probably wouldn't sit there.

What I do want to add - and this is just my personal opinion - is that I believe pricing has a lot to do with what I consider a "bad" seat. The pricing for the show is extremely inconsistent.

You could pay 95$ for great orchestra seats! Or you could pay 95$ for Balcony. It seems very unfair, and I'm usually good at figuring out ticket algorithms, but this one truly escapes me. It's a gamble. You could buy balcony now and then closer to the show they'll lower the price of the premium or prime tickets. Or the opposite could happen. I used to think it was based off availability, but I don't even think that's true, as I've seen shows in the yellow lower their prices, and shows in the green raise them. It legitimately seems random.

So my general rule of thumb is to follow a personal code of what each seat is "worth". I'd probably only pay 40$ for balcony (per part), 95$ I would get orchestra P or closer or first two rows Dress Circle, and anything higher I would fish for the *perfect* seat. Of course, this is assuming you have the luxury to fish around in different dates. I know not everyone does.

Joined at 3 different times during the half hour on 3 different windows, all of them say 2000+ users ahead of me. Pretty sure last time they at least gave you a concrete number

same happened to me. I thought I was the only one. So f'n annoying. Even at 11am it made me wait 30 seconds.

Remember though, they randomized it this time so you could join the waiting room at any point during that half hour. I'm pretty sure it was to avoid site crashing/keep fairness for all.

It looks like they're not offering the $20 or $40 per part price point as an option anymore... at least not during this new on sale. .

I heard....a friend was just looking and didn't find anything cheaper than 95/part.

My bars moved at different speeds so they were in different places, but I was just surprised how vague it was

fwiw, it doesn't look like there are any "entry tickets" (aka less than $100) offered until May 15, although all were gone/in carts by the time I got in. I clicked on the lowest standard price ($99) on a couple dates just to see what it would give me and it's Balcony F/G on the far sides, seats where I've previously paid $20 and $40. Cursed Child dynamic pricing strikes again!

My assumption would be that all 200/or so "Entry Tickets" were actually released for every performance at the initial on sale dates, so technically there are none left, since they've sold their guaranteed amount. The $20/$40 tickets that are released closer to performances these days are extra tickets that are typically face value, so I'm not surprised they're not outwardly selling more.

They could very well be using those days as Dress Rehearsals for the new cast, as replacing 7 principle cast members at a single time doesn't happen often.

I guess I lucked out, right at 11AM I was brought right in to purchase tickets, immediately picked June 6th and 7th and entry tickets appeared at a new price of $40/65.  Got Balcony row H for $40.  So it looks like $20/$40 tix became $40/65.  Just passing on the info.

I’m praying this still means the main 7’s last show is March 17....as I just bought tickets to that show. I’ve never been to anyone’s last farewell show so I’d be super excited.

Where were the $50 per part tickets located?

Also, the Wednesday/Thursday show is the first show of the new cast. That’s how they do the first show of the new cast in London, so I’m guessing it’s the same.

Entry tickets are just what they called the cheaper prices of tickets.

I've worked on Broadway for 12 years, and I've never once seen or heard anyone refer to the cheapest tickets as "entry tickets." A ticket is a ticket.

I did the $99 TodayTix lotto loser deal, and our seats are not together, so, which should I keep/which should I give my friend: orch row B right side, orch row C left side? Is there one side that I definitely want to be closer to, versus the other side?

Since they're only a single row apart and there really isn't much action in the far wings, you really can't go wrong with either. I got a ticket from someone on these boards for Part 2 when they couldn't get in because of a blizzard and the seat was Orch Row B house left and the view was amazing.

Thanks! I figured it was one of those six of one/half dozen of the other situations, but I didn't want to have the chance to choose and be on the 'wrong' side. I'm so excited!

Does anyone else keep getting error #1000 after choosing a date? I've been getting this since the play opened and even if I'm still nowhere near to get to New York, I'd like to be abl to buy tickets when I eventually can
