Posted: 7/15/09 at 5:43pmHas Samantha Brown (you know, from all of those travel channel shows) ever been on Broadway or any professional theater? It says she took 12 years of voice lessons then went to college and studied musical theater.

Well, the poster also asked about any professional theater credits in addition to Broadway, which isn't listed on IBDB.
I did a search and could not find anything. I am sure she was in a musical at some point in her life if she studied it in college. I could see her personality fit for the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago, but because I don't know how good of a singer/dancer she is, I wonder if she can pull of the role.

Posted: 7/16/09 at 1:10amI'm not sure why I have memories of her doing Roxy or Charus Line somewhere. I too had thought that she had done theater, but I'm not sure why I am thinking that. I remember being surprised when i had heard it too. I'll do some checking too.

I now know why I and perhaps others maybe confused! I was confusing Samantha Brown with Paige Davis! Both are TV hosts and they look similar. It took me a second to even remember Paige and she is the one that did Roxie in Chicago.
OK as for Samantha... she did go to Syracuse and majored in musical theater.
I did find one site that stated in her bio that she has done several Broadway shows.... but that doesn't appear factual.

Why doesn't it seem factual? Most of the info on IMDB is only fully accurate for the original cast and some of the major replacements.
Paige was also in Beauty and the Beast (where she met her husband, making her Paige Paige!) and most recently in the revival of Boeing, Boeing.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
