Has anyone been confirmed for the Spider-man "focus group" yet?

Would you rather see Act I or Act II?

What do you think is in the "gift bag"?

If they are selling out all performances where are the seats for the group coming from, or are they setting up folding chairs on the stage and in the aisles?

Why don't they just hand out comment cards with the programs to the PAYING audience and have a drop-box at the exits?

There aren't any comment cards, but I saw Julie Taymor talking with audience members for quite a while before, during and after the show answering questions and telling them about the production. She seems quite generous with her time.

A friend of mine was in the stall next to her at intermission and Julie told her that there are major changes coming. My friend asked when that was going to happen but she could not hear Julie's answer because right at that moment EVERYONE in the bathroom flushed at the same time! LOL

That's so funny. My friend who's an usher there was asking Julie the same thing and when she answered, my friend farted so loudly she missed the answer. I hope she gets to talk to Jules again!!!

I have an inside source who tells me these are the main points that have been mentioned:

1)More accidents. People are paying top dollar for this and want to see carnage. And I don't mean the character.

2)Give the Geek Chorus more stage time. They are adorable and a fan favorite!

3)Change Spider-Man to Batman and add the Joker. Also, have Jim Steinman re-write the score.

Pretty constructive so far I think.

Still no Aqua man, though? My friend who takes out the trash at the Foxwoods said at a production meeting she was invited to last week, they discussed adding him.

I was confused too, but then found the article on the NYTimes site:

In short, it seems focus groups are being sent into the show- but only for one of the two acts. No focus group is seeing the WHOLE show, just a half. Because that makes sense. And they're being given a gift bag and a VIP room. Just to make it fair.
