I was tempted to once, but decided not to. If this has been posted already, my mistake!

Read my thread about LIAISONS and got thinking?
My dad wanted to leave during the intermission of LoveMusik, but I actually liked it, so we didn't.
I almost left at LoveMusik... only time it's ever happened. I stayed because we had front row seats and I felt weird about taking off.
I left during Macbeth at BAM, but not because of the show. I didn't fell well.
^ Same with Drowsy Chaperone.
oh my god! me too ben!
We left during intermission of LOVEMUSIK last year.. This year.. It was in Boston's MY FAIR LADY..I just cant finish it..it has to do with that awful reverberations at The Opera House.
Gladly I have not walked out of any shows this year~its bec. I have not had a chance to see CRY-BABY yet!

I just can't understand leaving at intermission, no matter how bad a show is. I mean, you've payed the money already, you might as well stay 'till the end.

What a brilliant disaster LOVEMUSIK was.
Never. A friend of mine and I went to see a community theatre production of "Nunsense" and he said later that he would have left at intermission if he hadn't taken me.
I almost left CRY-BABY at intermission. Act Two is much better than Act One so I'm glad I stuck around...
I don't believe I've ever left a show at intermission. I just couldn't do it. It feels wrong.
I never did, but at Spring Awakening a couple weeks ago a group of three old people (I'd peg them to be about 75) sat down in front of us. My friends and I saw them and thought "I give them to the Bitch of Living". Well, they stuck it out to intermission, but took their stuff and left then. They definitely stayed longer than we expected!
Obviously they left because they were offended, not just because they thought it was a bad show. They should have just read all of the warnings in the lobby...
Better view when they left, though =)

I have never left at intermission myself but it seems like everytime I see Wicked the people sitting aside of or in back of me walk out. It happened twice when I was in front row.

It usually happens when you see a lot of shows..I have never done it before till last year. I started seeing shows in 1992. This year...I was bad in NOT showing to the shows with ticket. I did it 7 times and gave my tickets for 3 times. Total of 10 times and that's all Broadway shows!

I left during the intermission for Aida and immediately sought a bar.
No. Sometimes you learn a lot watching someone else make mistakes. And sometimes the second act is better.
Little women. And I had a very embarrassing moment with the producer (for whom I had worked before) as I was walking out.
No... but, I was tempted once... then I thought of how much I had spent on the ticket.

I wanted to leave at Mermaid.

I intended to leave at intermission during "High Fidelity", but for whatever reason decided not to. In retrospect, that was a stupid choice. Picking lint off my socks would have been a more interesting evening than "High Fidelity".

I can't understand how some of you are saying you would leave Cry-Baby at intermission IF you saw it! IF you haven't SEEN the show YOURSELF, how can you make such a prediction? Plus what would be the point of buying the ticket if you knew you were going to leave halfway?
I left at All Shook Up. I still mourn the hour of my life I lost from Act I.
I WISH I left Curtains.
As far as: already paid the tix? THAT'S not going to keep me in my seat...it's my life and time that is more valuable than ANYTHING.
My motto: If we're not having any fun, they why are we doing it!
I have been posting and lurking on this board for 2 years, so I have read a lot of posts. There are posters on here who seem to have very similar views to me, and I trust their opinions. After reading their views on the show I would have been tempted to stay away, SO I can't fault people for saying that they probably would leave the show at intermission, even thought they haven't seen it.
I did get a free ticket during previews, and I made it through to curtain call. However, I was quite tempted to leave. The only reason I stayed was to see how much of a train wreck it would turn out to be.
The funny thing is that Little women (at least the first act) was better than Cry baby, but so boring that I left.
I guess it really comes down to Schadenfreude vs. Ennui when it comes to leaving.
