So I just saw Cat on a Hot Tin Roof over the weekend and thought it was alright. Scarlett's accent/voice threw me, and she sounded like she was sick, so, for me, her performance wasn't that great. I thought the other three were pretty good though, especially Benjamin Walker. I also saw Once over the weekend and started thinking that Ben would be a great Guy to replace Steve Kazee once he leaves. I thought he was great in BBAJ and I really like his voice, so I could see it. Is that crazy? What are anyone else's thoughts for who should replace Steve and Cristin once they're done? Have either of them said when that would be yet?

I've been wondering about Steve and Cristin too, especially with the West End production coming soon. You're not crazy. Ben is great and he deserves another chance to show off his musical chops.

Honestly, I don't remember too much about his performance in BBAJ. All I remember is being disappointed and lots of people got shot with arrows. Did anyone see him is Les Liasons Dangereuses?

Cristens understudy who i saw was really really good. laura dreyfus, they shoud give it to her. she has a great voice too.

They mentioned in their broadway.com "Ask a Star" video that they are both leaving when their one year contract is up, in March I believe it is?

I think he'd be an interesting choice to play Guy! Never thought about it before, but I'd love to see him take on the role. Hopefully he'd bring the charisma he brought to BBAJ and not the blandness he's bringing to CAT.

I saw Benjamin Walker in DANGEROUS LIAISONS. I ... and I realize I'm in the minority here ... really loved that production. I don't remember much about his particular performance, other than he was miles and miles better than Keanu Reeves! And I remember he was nude for a bit in a compromising position with Laura Linney. Again, as I said, I really thoroughly enjoyed the entire production. I didn't put two and two together until I was reading my Playbill at BBAJ when I realized, "Oh that's the naked guy from DANGEROUS LIAISONS". My cousin was very jealous that I had been the very sexy star of BBAJ in the buff and wanted details! LOL
