Hi! New to the board... I'm happy to find this place. I am a big hedhead from days gone by. Saw the show 18 times at the Jane. 14 JCM, 2 Michael Cerveris, once with Kevin Cahoon and closing weekend with Matt McGrath. So you could say, I kind of like it.

I saw NPH on the very first night. Obviously I had to be there. I guess I'm stuck in the past. I have to say that any hedwig is better than no hedwig at all. To me, JCM is Hedwig. I have adored Michael Cerveris in so many things, but even he is not Hedwig. I was underwhelmed by NPH, but I'm biased. I just don't think he has the voice. And I like my Hedwig bare bones. I dont need a lot of crap on the stage. I'm on vacation this week, so I'm going back.. Despite my criticisms. Maybe I'll like him more. But I'm still hoping NPH gets the flu and JCM steps in, I know that's so mean. But just the flu.. Nothing life threatening.

If NPH gets the flu, you are going to see him perform Hedwig with the flu, I'm afraid. There is no understudy, and if there was, it wouldn't be JCM. But aside from not wanting to see NPH as Hedwig, or the way this production is staged, at least you're going in with an open mind...

That's very disturbing that you want someone you don't even know to get sick. He has no understudy and JCM will never perform this role for him. Yikes.

I've read all your reviews on here and heard what everyone had to say, but seeing it was another story. Wow. Neil Patrick Harris blew me away. Loved the music, the set design, everything. Can't wait to read the reviews tomorrow!

Looking to get tickets. Are the odd in side orch or the even better for this. I wasnt sure how much they use the aisle.

Everyone hurry up and watch and download if you know how, just in case Mitchell claims copyright violation and this get's removed. This was Pro-Shot for the Producers of the show. It's really an incredible show and performance. It's a Must watch!!
