Looks like Sh-k-boom has it up for sale, but The Record? Its a CD right?
Yes. They're just being cute. Like the cover of the Urinetown CD.

I'm pretty sure it's a cd.
Zan, when will it ship???
I'm very amused that I Slept With Someone gets three whole tracks...
It says cd when you confirm the order.
Trying to give this score a chance (though hopes aren't high).

NO it ain't mass market
Take your ass and park it
At the last real record store on earth
IF that is one of the lyrics, I am very concerned.

I Slept With Someone isn't the only song that gets three tracks.
It is also "Conflict Resolution" that gets the same treatment.

But Conflict Resolution was generally considered a highlight of the show. I Slept With Someone... wasn't. Though I kind of liked it.

But it is kind of a three track song. His part, her part, and their part together.
SO EXCITED!!! I have been waiting for this for so long. I'm also very excited they put Too Tired on there.
EDIT: Does anyone know how long Sh-k-boom usually takes to ship? I will only be at school for another 2 weeks.

"Conflict" gets split into three tracks:
the first is the Guns 'N Roses homage, the next was gangsta rap, and the last was the Eminem parody ("P***in' On Your Grave").

Yeah, that's my problem Ashley, I move on May 18th!
Wow, now I really know I'm going to hate this. Ugh. Why must I buy every cast album?

Ummm... if you know you're going to hate it, why are you buying it? And how do you already know you will?
Anyone know anything about shipping time?
It's definitely a CD. Dunno if you saw the show, but the main character (forgot his name, ahhh!) has a huge record collection and works at a record store, so calling it "the Record" ties into the show.

Rob...
Where can you hear some of the tracks? I went to the website and found nothing...maybe I am looking in the wrong place...
It's been my experience that they ship it very quickly. I have always received my cd's from them in 5-7 days.

Click on "Tracklisting/Audio" near the top right of the page. The tracks with the headphones beside them have clips you can listen to.
hey all,
no definate ship date yet. probably will ship the week before release, but i'll get it out as soon as I can.
If you think you're not going to be at the address when it ships, just shoot me a PM with your order number, name, and new address, and I will make sure to ship it to the different one.
Conflict resolution is only 1 track
and sure you all might think I'm biased but this really is a great album. After the ammount of times I have to listen to it I still enjoy it. So get excited.
Thank you!
Most of you know, but I can't wait for this.
Oh, and if you're going to hate this, why buy it? And why do people who hate the show so much post in these threads? Seriously, it's closed. It's done. Why are you complaining that it got a cast recording?
i'm curious about Too Tired. was this song in the show? i never saw it in NY i only saw it in Boston and my Playbill doesn't have the track listing for Boston
It never made it to the actual production, but was used throughout the workshops. It was one of the first songs written for the show, specifically for Jenn Colella.
