Yes, they have shipped them, I got mine today.

I saw the show in October and meanwhile it wasn't the best thing I've seen, I certainly enjoyed it. Overall, I think the CD is great but I'd have to say some things just don't translate well...Conflict Resolution, which I think any HiFi fan can agree was the funniest part of the show, meanwhile still is very funny, was just so much more hilarious on stage. I also loved Christian Anderson's performance but on the CD he just doesn't sound as good, really. But all in all, I am very glad to have this score recorded and will be definitely listening to it a lot.

i can not belive that this show got a cast cd but good vibrations, in my life hot feet are not get one. what is this world coming to.
I sure hope my CD comes sometime this week. I ordered it through a myspace website, and thought for sure I would have received it by now. Hopefully within these next couple of days. Glad for those of you who have received yours, that you like the score!
you ordered it through a myspace website? that sounds sketchy...
An honest opinion of the High Fidelity Cd:
I saw this show twice in the 10 days it was open: This show blew me away because I have always loved this movie and I thought it was some of the better music I have heard in a show. I ordered the cd at the show, which I never do but I was scared it would be another Lestat (not that I can remember one song from that show!! lol) But I received the cd, and I started playing it and to be honest some of the songs are not just as I remember them. There are empty slots in the songs like LAST REAL RECORD STORE ON EARTH....that I am like what? What I mean by empty slots - it's when the cast members said something that correlated with the song. It's cut all over the cd, which doesn't typically happen on this label. Well - I would have to agree when I say that it seems like this one was made a little to fast. The music seems slower and less than what I saw live, and I didn't drive 3 1/2 hours from PA without remembering this show clearly :) But never the less, I absolutly adore this cd because the songs are preserved. Let me stress what a shame that shows like this close in 2 weeks yet LESTAT got to stay open much longer. Its a complete injustice. Thank god for this record label!
Sorry I shouldn't even nitpick. Jenn C sounds fantastic on the cd.
Just got my copy. Packaging is interesting but I wonder how long it will stand up.
The booklet with the lyrics and a detailed synopsis is exactly the type of booklet every OCR should come with.
The score... well on a single cursory listen, it was all right. Maybe it's one that will grow on me with repeated listens. The show closed so fast I never got a chance to see it.
As one who spends his weekends browsing through used record stores, I can empathize with the setting.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
My CD came today and I haven't stopped listening to it since I opened up the package. The CD sounds terrific, and Will Chase sounds absolutely amazing as usual!!! I am so glad I ordered this, and it was worth the wait. For those of you who are considering ordering a copy, don't think twice, and order it!
I got mine today and have been listening to Last Real Record Store On Earth nonstop since.
I am really obssessed with the music. From judging what I hear, I think it would have been better off-broadway....but it is really good. I got it from iTunes and was like...ehh why not. I love agood showtune. It is very good and the cast sounds fantastic.
I had really negative memories of the show from the two times I saw it in Boston, but I must admit I love the cast album. The score is actually a lot of fun and wasn't really the problem. The book is to blame for the show not working. Overall, this is a fantastic recording that I think will be considered a gem a few years down the road.
To the person who said "Too Tired" never made it into the actual show... are you sure? I saw the first preview in Boston and I remember the show awkwardly started out with Jenn Colella singing a ballad. I'm not entirely sure, but I think it was "Too Tired".

Too Tired was definitely never in the show. In Boston they sang a song called "Wonderful Love".
Actually the ballad Jenn used to sing was called Breaking Up Alone. But Wonderful Love was in the second act near the end of the show.
May I also just add the High Fidelity debuted on the charts at 6? Not our top 5, but pretty dammn good. I'm very happy about it.
