Okay, The Fox Theater also held the Brooklyn tour and I didn't see anyone batting an eye then? High School Musical is by far a better "show" than Brookylyn - though that aint saying much. I'm kind of curious to see how this will work on stage. It seems to me that it would be a pretty unsatisfying musical on stage because they never show the actual musical at the end. We'll see though. All I know is it's going to get swallowed alive in that theater. It should have opened at the Alliance.
I was wondering how long this would take. =(
They'll have to add more songs - according to the CD on amazon.com, there are only eleven (I think).

I wonder if it's a one act or two?

Ewwwwwwwwwwwww...
The Alliance would be way too small.
Good lord.
Sure it sucks and is something sort of shameful for theatre. I'm a bit...shocked, to say the least, but I'm sure Fox Theater won't be whining about it when they make big $$. It's got a huge reputation, and think about all the kids begging their parents to take them to see it. It'll do well...

AHahaha so funny.
I'm kind of curious to see it.
I kind of want to see it for some of the scenes. Like get cha head in the game. I want to see how it would be on stage.
If it comes near me. I will see it cause I am curious to see how it will be staged.
Will you excuse me for a minute...
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First a High School Musical Medley for competition and now- ugh - this?
I'm thirteen, and most thirteen year olds with any common sense are saying NO to High School Musical!

Ridiculous
"They'll have to add more songs - according to the CD on amazon.com, there are only eleven (I think)."
Yep they added a few more songs and expanded a lot of the other songs... Like in the movie "Start of Something New" was just Troy and Gabriella at the ski resort place whereas in the stage version it's a verse and a bit at the ski resort and then it cuts back to the first day of school where all the different kids are singing about what they want to achieve that year. There are definitely at least 2 new songs - "We're Counting on You" and "Cell Phones" - but there are probably more. I'm not really a fan of the movie so I haven't seen it all but those two are definitely new.
There's a 2 act version and a 1 act version available. My guess would be that these people would do the 2 act version but I could be wrong.

"Cell Phones"? That sounds promising.
It's about the news spreading throughout the school about Troy and Gabriella getting a callback. I suppose its proper name is "Cellular Fusion" in the script. We all called it "cell phones" because it sounded less retarded....
Are you...in the show?
Paris, I can just see you shuddering as your typed that.
"I'm thirteen, and most thirteen year olds with any common sense are saying NO to High School Musical!"
Ah, but how many 13 year olds do you know with common sense? They are a rare breed, my friend.
Hey, I think Cellular Fusion sounds cooler than Cell Phones. ...Hehe..."fusion"...
I was in the Stagedoor Manor production which was the first time it had ever been done in the theatre... so I know quite a bit about the show but not really much about this production of it.

There are two songs added to the show, I believe. They're doing it with Talent Co. up here in Syracuse. Oh joy.
It's two acts. I have read the script. It's different in some ways like making the roles of Troy and Gabriella much bigger and Sharpay and Ryan much smaller
It's different in a lot of ways.
