Hello?? You are missing the biggest of all..... ANNIE!!! Come on, singing orphans and dancing millionaries?? Doesn't get much hokier.

I forgot about Annie. Oi. I don't think I ever want to see another production of Annie ever again. I saw a bad High School production of it where the Annie was about 6 feet tall, and she was as big as Daddy Warbucks.

Where do you live? Maybe I saw you. I remember that Miss Hannigan was probably the best out of all of them.

Ummm would Anyone Can Whistle count? I have only read the synopsis and listened to the recording but it sounds pretty hokey to me. Especially "Simple".
My avatar is a reminder to myself. I need lots of reminders...

lol I was just kidding Joizey. Obviously, I am not very funny cause I guess that wasn't apparent. But, I live in Ohio, so I doubt you saw our show.

Maybe you saw my production of "Annie," even though I'm still in middle school (only for three more months, thank Goddess!). Our Annie could barely fit in the costume...it was like a mini-mini-skirt on her, and she was taller than everyone except our Miss Hannigan, who was the highlight of the show.
Yeah...now, I'm going to say something on-topic. I'd prolly go with "Bye Bye Birdie," mostly because it's the only 'hokey' show I've seen.
Man, I have some catching up to do.

I totally agree with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!

Oh come on!! While the music is great, "Crazy For You" has to be the hokiest musical ever written. With a close second going to "42nd Street"
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Oh Lord. I saw this topic title on the main page and I thought it said HOCKEY Broadway Musicals. Imagine STarlight Express with padding and full body checking. Now THERE'S a musical for Ben Affleck to star in!
