I don't think there is another thread for this, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Holiday Ticket sales must be really good. Mind you, it is a holiday show so it's kind of expected.
It's ALL the holidays, no one being any more important than the others.
Good for them. I actually saw the musical and thanks to a buddy of mine I attended a second time. Boy, was I surprised, the second viewing was just as much fun. Great cast and I'm aware some don't care for Holiday Inn, it seems some find it old fashioned. We all have opinions nothing wrong with that. After all I sat through The Cherry Orchard and am still coughing up pits.

Happy the show will continue another two weeks...Enjoyed it throughly...Embarrassed by how much so...
their advance around Christmas time be strong, otherwise this is a complete surprise. Their grosses have been terrible during previews.
Now would be the time to record a cast album. What's taking so long?

That's what I was thinking, like why extend if your losing money? It could be as one other user said, they'll pick up after opening.

Remember that because it's produced by Roundabout you're dealing with a non-profit operating budget, which is very different than what you would find when talking about a commercial production.

It's very odd they haven't announced yet, let alone recorded it. It seems a no brainer to record since it'll enjoy a long life in community and regional productions, but you'd think they would want to get the recording out ASAP for Christmas.

I'm sure this extension was pre-built in - it's all publicity BS. The run was always going to be the run.
