Troy; Not sure what you are referring to. Kathy? Or that they are having problems casting? I think BSM is already booked on a concert. And I can't imagine that Billy wouldn't be one of the stunt casting roles. Probably ( god help us) Wayne Brady.

Wayne has already done the role. And BSM wouldn't be a stunt. They never use more than one celebrity at a time because the show would suffer. I guarantee that with Kathy on board there the rest will be filled with veterans. I.E. Sandhal Bergman (who just did the guys and dolls at teh bowl) Valarie Pettiford, Michelle Johnston, Denise Faye, Meg Gillentine. Take that back Melanie Griffith could do it again

Troy; Sorry but you are wrong. Just last year "The Producers" was full of suddo celebrities. All the musicals at the Bowl have had celebrities in the principals.

What's the appeal for the celebs to do the show? Is it good exposure? Is it good money?

For most of them ( especially the ones that live here) it is a chance to perform at the Bowl. A venue that is usually associated with Philarmonics and Headliners. The place has a lot of history . It is a big deal.

Hell lets make the whole cast Drag Race alumni. Willam as Roxie & Detox as Mama. RuPaul as Mary Sunshine.

I wouldn't mind Christina Hendricks. But I think Mamma is what KG is rumored to be playing. And I don't think Sutton is the name they are looking for to fill the 18,000 Bowl. I might be wrong. But just a hunch.
