Do boys hold other boys' newspapers?
Do they take anything off????
Does Sante Fe rhyme with gay, intentionally?
Why do you think the movie has been so popular all these years? lol.
The musical just makes it even more obvious.
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'll get it right now from your endorsement..
The movie is uber-gay, but honestly it's such a bore it's not even worth watching.
I never understood the love for the movie. Luckily the boys in musical go at it HARDCORE. if you're in the first two rows, you WILL get wet.
Just wait until they get to King of New York. Jeremy Jordan shows everyone why he's king of the rest of the boys.
^I thought Crutchie was the one with the third leg?
Crutchie's third leg is too large and might impact the star of the show so they hide him in the background and he covers up during the number like Nick Adams in A CHORUS LINE.

Any show that managed to get Ryan Steele shirtless within 10 minutes (and offered a glimpse as the actor's moved to places) is a;right by me!
I thought that the movie largely became a hit on video thanks to pre-teen and young teen girls, but I guess it all plays a part...Of course didn't Broadwayworld in one of their news items actually comment on how unattractive Christian Bale was in the movie (which I found kinda ridiculous...)
Maybe they could do a special unclothed performance once a month - and call it "Nudies!"
These newsboys certainly look they use most of their nickels for David Barton membership.
These should be the pull quotes for the marquee.
But seriously folks, when I saw the show at Papermill I was surprised how Tommie Shoemaker, Jeffie Calhoun and 'specially Harvey had managed to remove any homoeroticism in the show. Now, in the audience, that is a whole different story.
After seeing this squeaky clean , and ultimately boring show last night, they could use a bit of anything homosexual or heterosexual to spice up the evening !
Or sell tickets to hang out in the dressing rooms.
Well, not to be mean spirited but the biggest laugh of the evening came not from the show but from my theatre companion who turned to me during the first act and asked, " When is Snow White coming out? "

You're thinking of backstage passes. and yes, "backstage" is boy-code.
I would scream like a little fan girl if I had one of those.
EXTRA, EXTRA....LARGE!
