Also there's Roman Polanski who was behind Dance of the Vampires, and Woody Allen who was behind Bullets Over Broadway.

Yeah, because only men are capable of sexual assault.  I'm sure there are more than a handful of cases where women were leading these assaults.  I'm waiting for THOSE stories to surface.

Yes, females as the aggressor certainly DOES happen and it's even harder for those victims to come forward.  That being said, proportionately, it's believed to be relatively small compared to men.

And Broadway, like many institutions, takes every effort to silence those who speak up about it. When Broadway.com posted a video featuring James Barbour not too long ago, I commented with something alluding to his history of sexual abuse and the comment thread was quickly closed and censored, while the video remained.

but the reason this will get deleted is because of the OPs vendetta.

 

And while I tend to side with the victim....all those accused are not guilty.

And the amount of innocent people accused is provably VASTLY disproportionate to those who are guilty and accused. This is not at all the time or discussion in which to pipe up that there are innocent people wrongfully accused or convicted of sexual assault. There are innocent people wrongfully accused of ALL types of crime. Pointing that out right now is a creepy way of distracting from the problem.

I'm wildly confused why you'd have a problem with someone invested in keeping even a portion of the theater going public in the know of the heinous acts of someone who's face little to no career repercussions for using that exact career to assault a child. Clearly it's not effecting him, why do you care so much?

This isn't really related to specific Broadway actors, but a major pet peeve of mine is when actors, producers, writers and such are accused or convicted of sexual assault and people defend them simply because "they're talented." There are a ton of people out there who are equally talented with much better ethics.

Also I hate when men are like "As the father of a daughter, I can't stand for this". Hello? What about your wife, girlfriend, mother, sister, female friends, female coworkers, etc? Ugh.

And Brody, if any stories about women abusing men come out on here, I will be sure to post about that too.

Or being a decent human being without needing a female relationship to legitimize your outrage?
