34 of the current 40... not bad for my 6 visits to NYC!
Stand-by Joined: 7/20/14
I've been to New York twice (I'm from Australia). I hope to come again next year and do a really big theatre trip
Barrymore - The Curious Incident...
Eugene O'Neill - Book of Mormon
Gershwin - Wicked
Shubert - Matilda
Stephen Sondheim - Beautiful
Studio 54 - Cabaret
Walter Kerr - A Gentleman's Guide...
I have been to...
Majestic - Phantom (x2)
Al Hirschfeld - Hair and Kinky Boots
Imperial Theatre - Billy Elliot and Les Miserables
August Wilson - Jersey Boys
Broadway - Shrek and Cinderella
Eugene O'Neil - The Book of Mormon
Palace - Priscilla and Annie
Stephen Sondheim - Anything Goes and Beautiful
Foxwoods/ Lyric Theatre - Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark
Nederlander - Newsies
Studio 54 - Cabaret
Belasco - Hedwig
After my next trip in March I will be able to add the Vivian Beaumont and the Lunt Fontanne and hopefully a couple others.
I've been to 22 of the 40. The Imperial and the St. James tie for most return visits. I've seen three shows at each of them.
All but 5: Broadhurst, Helen Hayes, Lyceum, Friedman, Beaumont.
Most visited is the Shubert, because of Matilda. Runner up is the Simon, because I've repeatedly seen a lot of the short runs they've had there.
My opportunities to go to New York and soak up the Broadway World ran from 2001 - January, 2012. During that wonderful time I managed to get to all but 3 (and those were missed simply because there was always something else playing at another theater that I wanted to see more). Maybe between now and the time i kick off this mortal coil I'll get a chance to get to those three.
Just counted--I've been to 21 of 40 so far. Only two repeats (Mermaid and Motown at the Lunt-Fontanne, Aladdin and Mary Poppins at the New Amsterdam).
Brooks Atkinson - Grease, Spring Awakening
New Amsterdam - Mary Poppins
Lyric - Spider-Man
Al Hirschfeld - Kinky Boots
Majestic - Phantom
Nederlander - Newsies
Richard Rodgers - If/Then, Hamilton
Belasco - Hedwig
Imperial - Les Mis
Shubert - Matilda
Circle in the Square - Fun Home
St James - Something Rotten
Winter Garden - School of Rock
Lunt Fontanne - Finding Neverland
Cort - Sylvia
Marquis - On Your Feet
Helen Hayes - Dames at Sea
Only 17 for me!
And as I said on the thread that seems to have gotten this thread going again (not complaining)
I've been to all of them EXCEPT the August Wilson. And I'll have to wait for Jersey Boys to vacate as I have never had any interest in seeing it.
Ha! dramamama, I'm in the EXACT same boat as you! The August Wilson is the last one for me as well, and for the same reason. I know someone who joining the cast of Jersey Boys soon, and I'm considering seeing the show while he is in it. I'd be killing two birds with one stone: supporting him and completing my collection of Broadway theatres!
I haven't been to:
Golden
Majestic
American Airlines
Lyceum
Palace
Ambassador
Cort
Walter Kerr
August Wilson
Friedman
Marquis
Schonfeld
I've been to all 40 as of last year. I keep an Excel spreadsheet of all of my show information so that one day when I am old and can't remember, I am able to go back and piece it all together. I also saw my 100th show last week, which was pretty exciting. I am fortunate enough to have the means to get from CA to see so many great performances.
38 but soon to be 39!

I think the Ambassador is the only one. I may have to revisit Chicago at some point
For what it's worth, they put on a good show over there at the August Wilson. I can't imagine anyone not having a good time.
No idea really, would have to check all my Playbill's. If I had to guess it would be twenty something.

I can imagine it. Saw the show on tour and did not enjoy it. Seeing my friend in the show is the only reason I would revisit that snoozer.

24. I had to make a spreadsheet and read thru each theatre's wiki to jog the memory. I think I got them all. Not to bad considering I don't live in NYC.
Only 13 for me. But as a Broadway fan, I'm a late starter. I'm still kicking myself for never seeing a show when I actually lived in New York.
33 (112 Productions)
I am missing the following:
Ambassador
August Wilson
Cort
Golden
Minskoff
Simon
Friedman
Non New Yorker as well
