How long is Hamilton going to be on Broadway?

My mom and I went to see Hamilton last Wednesday and had the time of our lives and want to go see the show again with my dad and little brother. We are willing to spend the money but we're wonder weather or not to buy tickets now or wait for the next block to come out. They just released a block lasting until next March but is that the last block?

It'll be on Broadway for quite a while. You can expect the next ticket block to go on sale in the coming months!

It will be on Broadway for as long as it is profitable, and then some. So no, this is not the last block of tickets.

It currently grosses at least $2 million a week. It will be around for years and years.

Or more. My daughter, who is not yet married, is planning on taking her future kids and grandkids to this show. She is very optimistic it will last that long.

Since there has never been a hit quite like Hamilton, and it has proven that it clearly does not require a star in the lead, and people who have never seen a show are anxious to see it, I have no doubt that it will still be playing at the Rodgers Theatre 25 years from now.  Over and above, it does not have a large cast...if the Weisslers were managing it in 20 years, it'd probably run longer than Phantom...of course, that assumes that Phantom is closed by then.  It has clearly become the Mousetrap of NYC and, if I recall correctly, Mousetrap is in its 65th year apps.
