I guessed 50,000 once and was told that was too much. So less than that.

Considering that Bette is making WAAAYYY more than that, to say 50,000 for DHP is too much is ridiculous. He's as much of a name as she is, and if I recall correctly was attached to this before she was. Not knocking YOU, just that whoever told you this sounds possibly misinformed.

You are wrong on EVERYTHING! He is no way as big a name as she is. They know who she is all over the world. And the whole revival was produced for Bette. He was in no way attached before she was. I agree he is making more than that. But you are wrong on everything you just said.

No one is going to see Dolly for DHP. He is probably making very little compared to Bette.
Non-star leads (ie. witches in Wicked, Anastasia, Carol King, Kim in Saigon) are making MAX 10 grand (and probably a bit less). So scale up from there for DHP.
I wonder if the ensemble all make more than minimum since they all seem to have a ton of experience. Like there’s very little broadway debuts happening with this show.

I don't know how much he is making. I just meant that the 50K range rings truer to him. And he is a broadway name.. so he has a rate. Also.. I do not know how these i things work; but I wonder if he got a pay bump after the Tony award? Is that common?

I doubt it. When you have a star who is making $120+ a week (at LEAST) you need to offset that cost somehow.
