Joe, you rock.

But I feel that I must correct you. Obviously the only way to save Broadway is to mount a revival of The Light In The Piazza starring Miley Cyrus as Clara, that guy from the Twilight movie as Fabrizio (Sorry, but I can't remember his name), and Vanessa Hudgens as Margret.

That'll pack the teens in!

"kchenofan, you need to calm down."

I apologize if you took my post the wrong way. I wasn't offended by JoeKv's original post, I found it emmensely funny. I simply tried to point out the mistakes in his post in a funny way while also expressing my opinion. I just DO NOT feel that Disney Channel has a place on Broadway (with the exception of Christy Romano and Annliesse van der Pol who actually have theatrical talent). This is my opinion. I don't feel I need to apologize for my views.

kchenofan's computer is broken right now. This is her fridge. Now, you can leave a message, but say it slowly, so I can write it on a post-it note and stick it to myself.

James, as lovely as that idea is, we simply can't have the dazzling perfection that is Edward Cullen marrying a retarded girl! Why, the tweens will riot in the streets! Miley Cyrus will be publicly ripped to shreds!

... on second thought...

But don't you agree that 20 productions of Wicked would simply be far more efficient with saving Broadway? I mean we can use all the same people that have already been in it. We can throw in Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron as well if we need to. It will be brilliant.

Heck, they should have a couple X productions of Wicked as well.

How about no, as for the disney stars, none of them could ever pull off a broadway show. No one would take them seriously.

Annaliese Van Der Pol and Christy Carson Romano.

I am so glad you guys who "got" this are thinking of other shows that would save broadway! I am surprised that all you people aren't worried that next week when just about every show is closing, what are we going to see? I mean, I like to see every new cast of Wicked but there needs to be OTHER shows, too. I like the Sweeney Todd casting but that Pizza show about the girl who got kicked in the head is too sad. Besides I like those girls and would hate to see her play a head-kicked girl.

I hear that West Side Story is good- are there any parts for tween stars in it?

Miley must be Josefina and Anita. She could totes pull it off. And her sexy father can be Tony.

Incest sells, people.

TheCharleston, must you respond to everything I say? "13" obviously can't save Broadway, it's closing.

So why must you always respond to something I say with an obnoxious remark?

Or, is this going to be another time when you avoid the question?

This entire thread is making me crack up. re: How to save Broadway

I've seen many commercials referring to "Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus"--is she suddenly two people? If so, I propose a production of Side Show!

[Please note extreme sarcasm. If Zac or Miley ever made it to Broadway, I'd probably die.]

holy crap. no freaking way will that ever happen. miley cyrus, zac efron, and selena gomez on broadway... *throws up*. please don't ever let that happen. disney is already taking over broadway one musical at a time. and wicked is NOT a disney musical. how dare you say that.
