That's what I thought! Thank you so much for the confirmation!

Question! I'm seeing the matinee on April 25th with some friends, one of whom expressed concern that the children (particularly Sydney Lucas) may take matinees off. I'm not sure if there is any truth to this, but I thought that it would be worth checking whether anyone has heard anything along these lines. Considering we'll be there six days after opening, I'm hoping that the potential Tony buzz will be enough to keep anyone from missing a performance! :)

Sutton Foster in Concert unscheduled stop

Feb 6, 2010 — 8:13:03 AM

It's ridiculous--I was in Findlay (which really is quite a small town in the middle of nowhere) the day before the concert. But I'll be seeing her tonight in Cleveland, so all is well!

Hair. You know, in case you were still wondering which is generally preferred around here.

re: Parts of A Show That I Never Got

You're all just going to laugh at this. And I know that it has absolutely no importance. But it drives me insane just about every time I hear it. Blood In The Water. "You're nothing until the thrill of the kill" becomes your only law. OR You're nothing until "the thrill of the kill" becomes your only law. So would their law be the statement "You're nothing until the thrill of the kill", or would it simply be the concept of "the thrill of the kill"? ...talk about over analyzing.

During the recent tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, the woman behind me not only sang along, off-key, but narrated the show to herself, incorrectly. "And he takes the money! No he doesn't! Yes he does! No he doesn't! ...Oh, yes he does." "This is when she sings 'I Don't Know How To Love Him'!" (She doesn't.) (A few scenes later, the song begins.) "OHHHHH, NOW SHE DOES!"

My favorite play on the planet. After six years of being in love with it, I have my drama teacher considering it for our comedy this year. Of course, it may not happen, due to the excess of male roles, and lack of female roles.

I laughed at the "Jonas Brothers going to Ohio" line, seeing as that's exactly where they are at the moment. Looking forward to the show, and hoping that I get a chance to get into the city to see it. :)

re: Hair, N2N or 9 to 5?

Hair would be my first choice, without a doubt. Next To Normal is an easy second, though.

Hilarious Comments...

Last night, at Chicago: Roxie is finishing up Funny Honey, and woman next to me suddenly shrieks "She's singing He Loves Me So!" and starts cracking up as if it's the most hysterical thing she's ever heard. ...I have absolutely no idea.
