After months of trying the digital lottery I finally won last month! I'm happy I got to see the original cast leads before everyone leaves. The show was everything I imagined and more! The cast is phenomenal! I can't wait to see it again!
Congrats !!!! So there is little bit of hope, LOL Some days I get busy at work right at 4pm and forget to check if I won or not by 5pm. I'm so afraid that if I ever won, I would miss the 1 hour to purchase the ticket. I now got alarms set at 4pm to check. LOL
Thank You!! I really did not think I would EVER win. I believe I got the email like 4 min after it was done. So as long as you are within the hour you will be fine!
I'm happy to hear that someone won. I'm off from school this week and I've been entering everyday. I was beginning to think the whole thing was a sham... That's just the frustration talking. Congrats. Glad you enjoyed it!
You do realize this is (though perhaps not intentionally but I doubt it) a show-off post, right? I promise I won't tell you that I won the live lottery the first time I entered lol~ Glad to know you enjoyed it!
I doubt all the winners will be on the boards but if anyone has some inside information... do you know how things are working now that there's a digital lottery and apparently the in person lottery since the live Ham4Ham shows are back? How many tickets are being sold?
I've been entering the lottery every day I would be able to attend. No luck, though, I am fully aware my chances are pretty much slim to none lol. Has anyone else on here had any experience in actually WINNING the Hamiltion digital lottery? Went to the in-person one yesterday and it looked like 500+ people! Though, 500 is better than thousands!
I won the lottery back in February. I rushed Something Rotten in the morning and just because I entered the lottery for Hamilton for the matinee anyway, knowing damn well I wouldn't win. It was my first try. I got the email a few minutes past 11. You have an hour to pay for your tickets and then you can't pick up your tickets until a half hour before showtime (the lottery line is next to what I think was the cancelation line). After you pick up your tickets they make you go right into the theatre. I ended up giving my SR tickets to a family on the street.
