Posted: 10/4/09 at 12:52amI can't speak to this production, but the play itself is magnificent. Was your issue with the play or the production? I can't wait to see it.

Posted: 10/4/09 at 12:55amIt was most definitely the production. I thought the material itself was fantastic, but it was performed so lifelessly I just didn't care what was going on enough to stay awake.

Posted: 10/4/09 at 1:16amDid Cromer make any big directing choices? His "Our Town" is so magnificent because of the one big choice he made.

I didn't notice any big directing choices, it was pretty run-of-the-mill in terms of "family argues in dining room" and "family argues in living room."
And I breathe just fine in my sleep Namo, thank you.

Posted: 10/4/09 at 2:16amConsidering this is the first negative thing posted on here about the show... I'd like to hear something more descriptive than 'they performed it lifelessly. I fell asleep x amount of times'.
