All in a day's pay, bebe.
I was going to send you listermint.
Do you think "anonymous source" will know, at somepoint, who I'll be seeing on Saturday?
I'll let you know if I hear anything.
What is the girl with golden hair doing on page 2?
I'm going outside now so I can get sunkissed hair just like Tina! Haha
My friend loved the show! he says that Amy Spanger stole the show though. Sorry Tina.
Amy Spanger really is the hidden star in this show, WOW! She hit every beat with such comic flair, I swear I could watch her just comb her hair and I'd give her an ovation! But this thread is about the young lady called Tina Maddigan and BOY is she a real star, such an amazing talent. I'm in from the west coast but my sister brought us to see it and I'm still in awe of it, Tina made us all believe in everything on that stage.
From her first entrance I was hooked, her comic timing during her first song was perfect. Every little look she gave made us laugh, then she started singing and we started clapping, just because we were rooting for JULIA, you just fall in love with her. COME OUT OF THE DUMPSTER was so funny, and what quirky number, that's what I loved about the show, the music was both funny and moving, we were all in tears by the finale, this show really has a talented cast, here's wishing Tina many more performances in the lead role. Is there any recordings of her in MAMMA MIA! available? I don't mean bottlegs I mean real cd's, did they ever record one with the Broadway cast? She and Joe Machota were stunning as Sophie abd Sky, that show was the FIRST show I had ever seen on Broadway and they took my breath away! Yeah for Tina Maddigan!!!!!!!!
I love Tina!!!
She really is so adorable, she put so much emotion into her performance and the cast was cheering her on at the curtain call, it must be so exciting to be a stand-by for such a great role. She's PERFECT as JULIA! You go girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just came in to get my Evian spray mist and saw more posts in this thread. Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WeddedBliss22- Does this bring back fond memories?
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love that photo, thanks for posting it!
I'd KILL to see them both in Mamma Mia! again. BOOHOO, but YAHOOO for Tina in this current show.

weddedbliss22 so glad that you had a good time at the show and got to see it with Tina. I went back again to see her on Sat night and just totally fell in love with her all over again !!! From the moment she walks out on stage you want ot squeeze her. I think the audience did too.I meen you just get it...as soon as her and Mr. Lynch touched hands you wanted them to be together.I know she has been on a few times now but they were great togther...and have found a real CHEMISTRY. And yes that should be in capitals cause wow! Lets just say you could tell they were having a real time up there as flirting kids do and the kiss made me very jealous.(so I am sure phantom2 was squirming in his seat.)
Also her voise was so clear, and had that total pop belt sound that I know I want to hear sing this score.DUMPSTER..was Topnotch Brilliant!!( I think Laura does a fine job but her sound is more suited to her Cinderella days then it is to this score)
Ok sorry one more thing...when her and Steven sing If I Told You I was blown away..first the two of them sound amazing belting the crap out of that tune. And by the time they get there to sing it you feal for them so bad that I was crying all over myself and the lady next to me.( PS that is not the same wedding dress that she finds in the mall... am I loosing my mind on that one...why does she not have the real dress.)
Anyhoooo...wanted to put in my two cents for my love for broadway's first bride.I think she really is a lovable Julia at heart and her warmth for this role flows into the audience. I think we all wanted to eat her and Steven up like a big chocolate covered donut.Yummie !!!
hats off as well to,AMY,KEVIN,FELICIA,MATT
both men in those MAMMA MIA pictures are extremely hot!!!

I'm not sure why people think Amy Spanger is the second coming.
I like her - I thought she was rather good in TICK, TICK...BOOM! and URINETOWN. I just always find her so bland and so "I'm pretending to be really peppy but underneath, I couldn't care less."
I think people are confusing a fun, funny role for a brilliant comedic actress. With someone else in the role, the role would be even funnier.

I think the Mamma Mia bridal headdress should be taken out and shot.

hey glad to hear you liked it. I am going back to NYC too see this one again too, but better than Laura Benneti (probably mispelled)? My favorite part was the Act 1 Finale, man that had the audience rolling, why isn't this show doing good. Its the only one, other than wicked where the audience is really really into it. I mean like on their feet claping and laughing.

It's true, it's a fun show with great choreography and costumes.
Without A Trace, your cameraderie and willingness to share those statuesque men with your fellow posters makes one want to acknowledge you in every conceivable and inexpensive way.
(That's an old Mark Twain line.)
