Considering there was an article on playbill.com saying that Laura would be there, I can imagine why people might think she would be.

However, I'm sure no one was disappointed by Tina.

Tina is great! Very down to earth, you could never tell that she originated the role of Sophie in Mamma Mia, which is HUGE. She uses a lot of her own personality to play Julia, because that is a lot like her in real life. A real star, and she has no diva attitude, she didn't even ask to be feautured among the leads on the playbill.

muscle- Good post. Tina's been playing Sophie for a long time. She was also in the 1st National Tour and Toronto Production before her Broadway debut.

Sophie was the perfect role for her and so is Julia. I think what makes her successful is that she brings her wonderful personality to the role. Sorry to say, there are no other girls like Tina Maddigan. She broke the mold.

WeddedBliss22- It's Joe Machota. There is no Y. Where is he now? No doubt he's sailing around the island, gambling under the stars...or somethin' like that! Haha

Tina's hair should look like Drew Barrymore's in the movie.

I was at first dissappointed when I got to wedding singer to realize that both Laura and Amy were out, since they were so good last time I saw them. However, I ended up loving Tina in the role so much more it was ridic...and Cara Cooper did one hell of a job filling Spanger's shoes. LOVE LOVE LOVE TINA! Want to see it specifically with her again, anyone know when she is going on next...???
