That's completely ludicrous.
You can put up an argument for why Jersey deserved the Best Musical Tony, but Drowsy hands down deserved Best Book.

I was so thrilled to see LaChanze triumph. I was so sure it was going to be Lupone for that self-indulgent,unfocused.unfunny.lackluster performance in that gimmicky.pretentious revival.
The Tonys got it right.
