I went to the dress rehursal for Stephen Sondheim's 75th birthday concert at the Hollwyood Bowl. Here are some of my highlights from the day.
*Meeting Sondheim if only for 10 secounds.
*Kissing Stephanie D'Abruzzo on the cheek.
*Making a fool infront of then meeting Eric McCormack.
*Hearing Josh Groban sing then meeting him.
*Getting a picture with Angela Lansbury
*Watching Carol Burnett tell jokes then meeting her.
*Sitting next to Anne Hathaway
*Watching Bernadette Peters.
I can not wait for the concert tommorow! This show is going to be one to remember. It is amazing, so much talent with such great songs!

I hope he shows up or does a pre-show event for Ravinia Festival's celebration of his 75th birthday, though it's in August (hehe I live a block from there, it's so fun). I can't wait to go see LuPone, Cerveris, and McDonald do Anyone Can Whistle, they have all been so amazing in the past four shows that have been done there.

You all act like he lives the life of a hermit and never appears in public. I use to see him all the time. I don't really get what the big deal is. Is it about meeting him or just seeing him in person?
