Finished watching. It's actually pretty cute, but I think this would make a better movie than TV show.
The best parts are the musical numbers, IMO. The rest is... eh.

Of course the best parts are the musical numbers. that's usually how it is with shows like this.

It was stupid of someone to start a thread about this show when it hasn't even aired.. Obviously, they did it for attention. I saw the pilot last night, but I would have never started a thread about it. now, you got everyone asking for a link. PLEASE don't do this again and review a show that hasn't aired just so you can be 'first'.

A person hates something they were already convinced they'd hate. Shock of the century.
All it needs are musical numbers and to be at least half as enjoyable as Popular, and it'll be my new favorite show.
I would love to have the link, please!
If you find access to something early, so be it. Who cares if it hasn't aired yet. We don't take anyone's opinion as 'gospel' around here.
We talk about shows before they've opened, so what's the difference. If YOU don't want to see it early fine. If YOU don't want to know what someone else thinks about it early, fine...why read the thread?
I had never heard about the Singing Stage ! Since you cannot see what it's all about unless donating, is it worth $25 ??? If you can't say here, PM me please, someone !!!!
spell7107 you don't accept PMs
Just watched it and absolutely loved it to pieces. Its campy and fun and cheesey! Exactly what my mind needs after watching my other shows Cold Case and SVU! I know I'll tune in tomorrow to watch it and tell all my theatre friends to watch it as well!
I can't wait for this show. At least it will get me away from the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Just watched and loved it. The sound clips on TSS have been on repeat on my iPod since.
Sadly I'm in the UK so can't watch it tomorrow night - everyone in the US, please watch and give the show great ratings :)

There's nothing illegal about this. It's available for download on iTunes.

A 2 minutue preview is available on iTunes, not the whole episode. Don't lie.
You obviously knew people would ask for the link. I am just wondering why you couldn't wait until it actually AIRED on TV before posting your review?
Did you HAVE to be first like you are the ONLY one who saw the pilot episode early?
I just wish you held off on posting your 'reivew'. Please don't do this again.
THINK before starting a thread like this again. You could have posted your review in any of the GLEE threads, but no... You had to start a new thread to get all the attention on yourself.
Come on...
And dramamama611, this is completely different than giving a review about a Broadway Show. This show airs and two days (RATINGS!!!) and I don't think producers would be happy that some nitwit saw it early and is posting around how bad the show is (in their opinion).

I'm not saying Yankeefan isn't a nitwit, but like Fox gives a flying eff what someone on BWW posts. Not to mention the fact that reviews are already out, as tends to happen with tv shows. Usually if a tv show or movie isn't available for review before it appears, you already know it's in trouble.
It still looks like it sucks hardcore, though.

Ok, so if the show fails because everyone on BroadwayWorld.com didn't watch it on TV, I'll blame myself for Matthew Morrison and Lea Michele having to go back to Broadway.
Not at all the fact that the US population that doesn't frequent BroadwayWorld.com didn't watch it. Of course not...
Oh, and referring to "This show airs and two days (RATINGS!!!) and I don't think producers would be happy that some nitwit saw it early and is posting around how bad the show is (in their opinion)"
that very much applies to Broadway, as well.

can someone please pm the link too, thanks!!!!
I fixed it now. Thanks! Can someone PM me the link?
I'm still trying to figure out why someone shouldn't be allowed to start a thread giving their opinions on something they watched. Doesn't that sort of defeat one of the main purposes of this message board? Not that it ever truly matters, but there certainly isn't anything in the message board rules about it.

Matt, posting a review is fine, but the original poster knew this show didn't air yet. Their review got several people who haven't seen it yet all riled up for a link to view it.
The poster should have considered the fact that at least 90% of the people here didn't see it and at least hold off until it aired.
It wasn't bad enough when they reviewed something that hadn't aired, but then they lied and said it was available on iTunes.
Why not tell the truth and say you watched it where it was illegally uploading?
Maybe Yankee will review a bootleg for us next time. I'm waiting.
