"Jenjenjen, I'm a Brit too, thanks very much. And I know etoile of old, she was being sarcastic too. "

Ahh fair enough. Apologies then! I'm not a regular poster so I'm new-ish to the sense of humour and people round here. :)

Hey it's ok. Humour doesn't always translate easily on here.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

re: Idina is coming to London!

Looking back at my last post it was a bit badly worded!

At the launch David Stone said it would MAINLY be a new british cast when asked about veterans from the Broadway show he did not rule it out but if i remember rightly he seemd very firm that the leading ladies would be new for the UK Cast.

This seemed clear when he said he'd be game for a UK Cast recording, so i doubt ORIGINAL Broadway Cast Members will reprise, so people like Ben can come over to the UK, and also its a different voice on the CD!

I guess we will have to wait, David said a full list will be in place Mid-May, i expect however leading named will be revaled prior.

Regardless of who they cast as The Wizard, they will not be able to use a British accent. Considering he is suppossed to have come to Oz via Kansas, I don't think they'll be able to change that.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
