That is immensly cool having her go back into being Elphaba even though its on the west end.
Now if we all had round-trip tickets to London...

She didn't want to move to London for a year where as WICKED would be, what, almost 4 months? How long did Nathan Lane stay in PRODUCERS there? If she does go back, it's for the $$$
In any case, I find it a bit unlikely she'd be doing it. It's no secret Idina isn't too keen on going back to WICKED. She did an interview a while back saying she doesn't know if she would go back, especially to put on the make up, bla bla bla.

It's seems really sheezy of the producers to say they want an "all british cast" yet they cast Adam Garcia (or is he british? I know he's done some stuff in the west end) and Ben Vereen? Doesn't add up. I'll have to ask Ben when he comes to Birmingham later in the semester. Ugh, wish i were going to London this fall. Caroline or Change & Wicked & a new Evita & billy elliot? ugh.

I think it would be very smart of her to do it. Think about it, this is her chance to maybe develop a similar hord of crazy pre-teen fans over in Europe. No matter how she feels about them, THEY are the ones who will buy her Solo-Album!
Apart from that the rumour seems to travel fast or has more than one source, because I was chatting with some German friends yesterday and told them about it, but they had allready heard it a couple of days ago.

AND - Idina can do what she wants, yes. But - are they even offering her the part? You think if she wants to do it, but they don't want her, she'll just show up anyway. Red track suit and all?
