Well, she missed last night to sing at MLB All-Star game. She sang "Forever Young" and National Anthem. I would assume she might miss performance today also due to being in Minnesota for game.

I'm hoping Jackie gets some planned performances as Elizabeth. I've seen Idina 3 times and would really like to see Jackie in the role soon, as I imagine this show won't last very long, unfortunately- as I really enjoy it.

If/Then will probably make it to the first Sunday in January, at least, I would imagine. It's still pulling in $800K a week, and other shows are closing, which increases the TKTS take for the survivors... Idina is a machine, though, so Jackie isn't going to hit the stage too often, I wouldn't imagine.

Unless the winter is REALLY bad, I imagine the show will just close out in March when Idina's contract is up! Leaves enough time for a new show to take the Richard Rodgers right before Tony time!

Well excuse me for not reading every post - lol. Yes, airplanes do exist but sometimes people might take a day for themselves after performing out of town.

And it's Wednesday - so there is also a matinee (unless that was cancelled too?)

I have a friend who is in town for TKTS for a matinee today and was interested in If/Then but I told her not to take the chance without going to the theater first to ask.

I can't imagine it will close before the new year (or before Idina's contract is up for that matter). Sales are still pretty strong now and while they may slow down just a tad in the fall, the holiday season will be instrumental to grosses.

But yeah, as far as Jackie going on, I wouldn't count on it as the producers clearly are more inclined to cancel a show than have Idina not be there for it, unfortunately.

There is a matinee, and it wouldn't make much sense to cancel one show for no Idina, but then she just misses the following matinee.

When your name is Idina Menzel and it's above the title, you don't really have the luxury to take a day off for yourself. No reason she won't be back for both shows today.

Surely Idina will take a vacation at some point and they aren't likely to shutter for a week for that. So Jackie should get to go on then, right? You can also search the internet and find some video of her doing most of the songs when Idina was out with her cold a couple of months ago.

She has yet to announce any vacation plans, which she would need to do pretty far in advance. I think she will just close the show barely missing any performances.
