Quite a lot.. some that come to mind right away are

Aaron Walpole and Melissa O'Neil in Les Miserables
Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages, Jekyll & Hyde)
Syesha Mercado (Book of Mormon)
Fantasia (Color Purple, After Midnight)

I don't know if anyone remembers this show, but the reality show "Grease, You're the One that I Want" has had a lot of people who were on that show wind up on Broadway (Laura Osnes, Max Crum, Kate Rockwell, Kathleen Monteleone, and Ashley Spencer)

I was once playing auditions for, I think, "The Color Purple", up at [ NAME OF CASTING OFFICE REDACTED ]. It was like an "Idol" mini-reunion. In addition to the ex-Idol in the room, there were at least 3 more, schmoozing in the hallway as they waited for their various auditions !

Jordan Sparks in "In the Heights" and Taylor Hicks and Bo Bice in "Grease". Of course Carly Rae Jepsen was on "Canadian Idol." And Katherine McPhee was in "Hit List"... I know, I know that was Off-Broadway, but close enough!

Frenchie Davis was on The Voice. Also I'm pretty sure she did Rent BEFORE The Voice.

Frenchie Davis was on the second season of American Idol. She got booted, I think, be the voting round even started for compromising Internet photos.

Just saw Melissa O'Neil (winner of Canadian Idol) go on as Eponine in Les Mis yesterday and she was phenomenal

Melissa O'Neil was the lead Eponine in the Toronto Les Mis and was really great in the role!

These aren't all Broadway, but a few other Idols...

Katie Webber was in Wicked for years, and I think Rock of Ages
Vanessa Olivarez was Tracy in Toronto's Hairspray
Amy Adams was the Narrator in the national Joseph tour
Anthony Federov was in Rent Off-Broadway
Latoya London was Nettie in the Color Purple tour
Lakisha Jones was in Color Purple (Broadway)
Anwar Robinson was in the Rent tour (non-eq)

Taylor Hicks was in Grease.
Constantine is the only to be nominated for a Tony.
