At the Rogers, is Orch Row G far left almost to wall better or 1st row mezz far left almost to wall better? I heard being under the overhang at the Rogers is not great.
I heard the same thing - that rear orch there is terrible; maybe I read it here or a friend told me; I can't recall.
I sat far left 2 seats off the wall in the orch at the show in DC and didn't miss anything. Provided the proscenium doesn't extend out/the stage isn't super deep, it should be fine - especially when elevated.
The mezzanine is much, much better, the back of the orchestra is probably the worst place to sit in that particular theater. Enjoy!

The mezz is very high up nd the rear mezz is awful
I really don't think the rear mezzanine is awful. It's far from the stage, but you can see everything clearly. I sat in the very last row for IN THE HEIGHTS and the view was fine. Having seen the show in D.C. though, I do think it benefits from sitting closer. But if rear mezzanine is all you can afford, by all means go for it.
The back of the orchestra at the Richard Rodgers is the worst place to sit in ANY theatre.
Unless they've drastically changed the staging since DC, you won't miss anything. I sat against the wall once and had no major sight line issues. But you'd definitely miss out on all the "upstairs" scenes if you sit in the rear orchestra.

Has anyone purchased a "lottery looser" seat in the Rear Mezz that can comment on if its worth the price and experience? Thanks.
I sat rear mezz. Last row. View was absolutely fine.
