If You Could Dine With Any Broadway Star, Who Would You Pick? — Page 5

As much as I love me some Johnny Tags, I would have to say Gavin Creel, my first Broadway crush when I saw him in Fame in Chicago in '94. When I met him after Bounce, I told him of my love for him at such a young age and he couldn't have been sweeter about it. My heart beats Gav Gav, Gav Gav.

Idina Menzel because she is SO cool.
I'm not a gay stereotype. I'm a coincidence.

One Song,
Idina is painfully shy. She can come off as a snob, but I think she is just shy.
Chenoweth is the opposite. She will come right over to you and chat for days. Weeks. Months. Years. Got to love Cheno!

I would love to dine with Sutton Foster, Idina Menzel, and Doug Sills. They all seem like they would be so much fun and I know they are all really nice.

I think Chenoweth would be a funny dining partner.

Definitely Roger Bart...and hopefully he would sing just for me, dance with me, that Snoopy dance.
Bill Irwin, and talk about Keaton all night.
And Brian F. O'Byrne, just to chat over a couple of pints.

When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere

Anthony Rapp, hands down. That boy is seriously my idol. He bops from film to tv to Broadway to doing his own music incredibly easily, is an all-around nice guy, and I could ask a few questions about how he was able to come out, which is one of those reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally hard things to do.
Second would probably being able to rock out with Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal, Kristen Chenoweth, or Daphne Rubin-Vega.

Daphne Rubin-Vega. I feel like Daphne would buy me beer.
Also, Michael Cerveris. Not only because he's incredibly pretty and lovely and I like hearing him talk and all that, but I feel like he'd buy me beer, too.
And Sutton Foster because, I don't know if she'd buy me beer, but I wouldn't even want any, she's so cute. I'd just bask in her cuteness.
And Patti LuPone because what would we talk about?! We'd talk about her, probably, and I love talking about her.

Keaton, I think we should have a house party and invite Patti and Michael--but only if they bring beer.

Already been there, already done that.
But if I had to pick someone else...
...I'd say Barbara Cook. I'll bet the dinner conversation would sparkle! And the stories she could tell...
...and the jokes!...

Good idea! I can't think of anything I'd rather do than get drunk (and then eventually die) with Patti and Michael!
No, really, I can't...

I hope you're not killing Patti just to hear her last words, though.
Actually, I'd kill to hear her last words, too. As long as she remembers to enunciate.
