Just to be clear - it's not at Footlight yet, and we haven't even done the official announcement, which will be in a week or so. I can tell you that it will include two numbers that were recorded but left off the LP, and the tracks will be in show order for the first time.
I just received Anya in the mail today and preordered Illya Darling. It's absolutely wonderful to finally have a real CD release of these cast recordings. I guess everyone at work is going to get to hear Anya with me this afternoon!!
Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco.
Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!
Awesome. I'm really glad they uncovered the two missing tracks that weren't on the LP from the original tapes, as well as placing the songs in the correct order. Maybe we'll see Donnybrook! next!!

I don't put the limited editions on amazon, because there's no way for me to know if these are going to be instant sellouts (all our limited edition soundtracks sell out in just a few hours - the shows not quite that fast). So, it's available at Kritzerland, and also Footlight and screenarchives.com.
THANK YOU so much all, just pre-ordered it too from Kritzerland ! As a Greek, it makes me so proud and emotional that there are Broadway fans that still remember our wonderful Melina ! On March 6, it was exactly 15 years ago that she flew to the stars, making Greece and the world a lot poorer ! She is still so greatly missed ! I've never heard Ilya, it never came out here and I am sure a LOT of my friends will be really jealous of me, for having that cast recording !!
I'm incredibly excited to have a remastered version of "Bouzouki Nights" on my ipod. I've been getting by with an LP to mp3 copy someone made for me off of my own LP.
Bouzouki Nights gets its original name back on our CD - Taverna Dance, and it's in its proper place in the show order, which, rather than track one, is the second to last number in the show :) It sounds really good, though.
Glad you're enjoying it! More coming. We just announced our new limited edition soundtrack - not of interest to most here, but maybe some - the soundtrack to Two For The Seesaw by Andre Previn, which just happened to coincide with Mr. Previn's 80th birthday. It's a fantastic score and has a great song in it called Second Chance, one of Previn's most beautiful melodies - with lyric by Dory Langdon Previn, sung by Jackie Cain. Available, as always, at kritzerland.com. It's actually down to its last 100 copies.
And low quantity alerts for Illya and Anya, both of which have less than 200 copies.
