I'm sure it'll be great, playhouse!
I'd rather have your Tony-related time issue than mine. It didn't occur to me last week that...see, I'm playing clarinet in a Queens community theater production of Fiddler on the Roof. I coudln't be more excited, it's such a great part, but my sister got me a ticket for the Tonys...and we have a performance at 3 on the 15th. It probably won't end until 6, and I'll be far in Queens, close to Long Island. I'm gonna have to rush like crazy to try to make it in time for the pre-show technical awards.
Actually, those familiar with Sunday traffic on the LIE -- do you think it'll be pretty bad that I should stick with the LIRR?
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
