Yay, good response. I'll wait until tomorrow morning and book then in case anybody at shows tonights wants to chime in (although most of our regular posters have already commented.)
ahh exedore just thought...my funds are lacking somewhat, and ima afraid the £16 train fare seems to be beyond my budget! have fun though...well try! :P
Please do post on the last night's performance - I would have loved to see it again but I have friends in town who are dying to see We Will Rock You ... yes ... really.
Have fun, guys! Someone throw a rose at Peter Polycarpou for me.
Managed to catch this again with some friends on Friday night. The performance was far better than the one I saw in previews and the show was very tight. Everyone seemed to be working on full power and there were some spine tingling moments that I didn't feel before. The circle was closed and the stalls had about 300 in it. Such a small audience but they gave it a full ovation at the end. My box office friend who used to work there finished on the opening night of 'Imagine This' (did she know something we didnt?) so there was no one to dig at for info on the theatres next show. BUT I had a chat with one of the house managers and she went as far as to say that it is a pretty big show and is a British production ,not from Broadway!!!! Theres lots out there but what's coming in???
Id love to join you guys but with it being the last Saturday Im pretty busy tho I may try and join you before or probably after for a quick Christmas Sherry!

Its a musical? If you could have seen her face you would have wanted to just take and walk her down a long alley! LOL Due in in 2 to 3 months??? 'Night Music' crossed our minds
But Night Music would be dwarfed on that stage and in that auditorium. It would look like it did in the Olivier.
(you see I'm beginning to think like you guys)
Mama - do join us for the quick christmas sherry - I shall treat you. Besides which, I could do with the morale boost as I shall be at least 10 years older than everyone else!
At least 10 years! You and i shall sit in the snug while the others bop away all night!
I will def try and be there but I really cant Imagine myself sitting thru the show the third time! When my friend said 'A Little Night Music' i said the same as you, that it it would be dwarfed there. 'Witches' isnt due till September and thats going to a Cameron house (oops did i just knock over a bag of beans then?). Im back in town on Weds and seeing a lot of shows and people and someone has to know!
Sorry I can't join you all but my Christmas break is taken up with tiresome holidays in Egypt and Paris. (Heck I deserve it, considering how hard I've worked the last 4 months!)
As for what's next at the New London, my friend on the continent did mention that Stage Ent are looking at something there. Now, Rebecca is going to Broadway, (for about 10 minutes, and minus some of the creative team), so it's not that, but maybe something else from them?
