Is this going to be immersive like their Guy's and Dolls? This isn't clear...

No. Tickets are on sale and you can see the seat map. It will be proscenium.

They don't specifically do or prop up immersive work at the bridge, they just happened to have a hit with an immersive musical.

While their main focus isn't exclusively "immersive", many of their productions -- even before Guys and Dolls -- were immersive. It's even on their website:
"The Bridge is its first home, a 900-seat adaptable auditorium designed to answer the needs of contemporary audiences and theatre-makers and is capable of responding to shows with different formats (end-stage, thrust-stage and promenade)."
It was purpose built with that flexibility in mind.

But God I’d love to see it
The Director was involved in the Cabaret revival (and same set designer), and also the Oklahoma! revival...so I'm guessing there will be a certain darkness an abstractness to the take, which I look forward to.
I am not saying this to be a troll. I really believe it.
let's have a year without Sondhiem.

That's like suggesting that all the opera houses of the world should skip Verdi or Mozart for a year.
Since taking a tour of Toronto’s Winter Garden Theatre I’ve been harbouring a wish to see a production of Into The Woods amongst all that splendour. But since discovering the Murtoa Stick Shed after moving to Melbourne I think an immersive production below those beams would be a designer’s dream.

Wow, those are two GORGEOUS spaces. Are there any threads on here dedicated to gorgeous theaters?

I cannot miss this. A little sad that the Bath production is dead. Can anyone recommend the best time to try to travel to London (from the US) in Feb-April of next year while this is still running? Excited for the staging.
